Got it from my trt Doc. My liver enzyme were a bit high last time I did bloods so I'm running this for bout a month.

You can buy bulk NAC for pretty cheap. Some people take 1,200 mg/day, I've been taking half that. Seems to help the liver numbers.

n-acetyl-cysteine

Don't know about glutathione for liver specifically, but it is supposed to be a great general sup for reducing oxidative stress & free radicals.

I take NAC. I usually take 800mgs/day, 1200 when I'm on an oral. But NAC is only for protection. Glutathione actually cleans the liver. Going to do bloods right after so Ill se how effective it is.

Are you taking milk thistle?

There is probably nothing better on the planet for liver than milk thistle.

I thought milk thistle was old school. Everybody's using NAC and Tudaca. I never heard of milk thistle actually flushing the liver but only protecting it like NAC. Tudaca actually protects and flushes.

So here's what I find really interesting about tudca, look at it's chemical structure. It looks very much like our beloved steroid molecules, and given it's unsaturated nature looks closest to DHT to me. I would post up pictures, but the site won't let me right now.

Only differences test and DHT have a ketone group vs. alcohol group at C3, tudca has an extra alcohol group at C7, and tudca has a long chain off C17 instead of an alcohol group.

The long C17 chain reminds me of oral steroids, so I find it really peculiar that tudca is meant to help the liver, when other things really similar to it (think of every oral steroid you know) harm the liver.

Very odd.

Anyway, milk thistle may be old school but it actually works. whether it protects vs flush, and what the heck does flush even mean? don't know. Best would be to take all three.

And wow, can you think of anything that tastes worse than tudca???

Lol well NAC smells like pure crap as well lol. You have an interesting point I'll have to research this weekend bout Tudaca. As far as flushing the liver, I read that we aas users need not only to protect our liver from our nasty habits but we need to clean it as well cause the stuff we put in our body overloads the liver amounts other organs so we need to clean it as well. My trt Doc recommended this stuff which is taken IM twice a week for bout 3.5 weeks. Going to do bloods after to see if it brings my liver enzymes numbers down.

How much milk thistle would you recommend?

Here you go amigo:

Adults (over 18 years old)

For acute viral hepatitis, 160-800 milligrams of silymarin (e.g. Legalon®) has been taken by mouth daily in three divided doses for three weeks.

For allergic nasal symptoms, 140 milligrams of silymarin has been taken by mouth three times daily for one month.

For amanita phalloides mushroom toxicity, silibinin has been taken by mouth; 20-50 milligrams per kilogram of silibinin in 500 milliliters of 5% dextrose solution has been injected into the vein every six hours for one day.

For antioxidant effects, 140 milligrams of silymarin (Livergol®) has been taken by mouth three times daily for three weeks.

For cirrhosis, 160-800 milligrams of silymarin (e.g. Legalon®) has been taken by mouth in 2-3 divided doses daily by mouth for up to two years.

For diabetes (type 2), 200-230 milligrams of silymarin (e.g. Legalon®) has been taken by mouth one to three times daily for four weeks to 12 months, together with regular therapy.

For diabetic nephropathy (kidney disease), 140 milligrams of silymarin has been taken by mouth three times daily for three months.

For liver damage from drugs or toxins, 160-800 milligrams of silymarin (e.g. Legalon®) has been taken by mouth daily in three divided doses for periods ranging from 15 days to five weeks; 70 milligrams of silibinin has been taken by mouth three times daily for 6-12 months.

For fertility, three doses of 70 milligrams of silymarin have been taken by mouth (in addition to standard therapy) over the course of one day.

For high cholesterol, 200-600 milligrams of silymarin has been taken by mouth once or three times daily for four months in addition to standard therapy.

For chronic liver disease 160-480 milligrams of silybin (Silipide®, IdB 1016) has been taken by mouth once or three times daily for up to three months;120-420 milligrams of silymarin (Legalon®) has been taken by mouth daily in three divided doses for four weeks to 12 months; silibinin (e.g. Legalon® SIL) has been injected into the vein for periods of 10-14 days.

For osteoarthritis, 150 milligrams of silymarin has been taken by mouth twice daily for eight weeks.

For radiation skin irritation, a silymarin-based cream (Leviaderm®) has been applied to the skin.

What's not mentioned is that it is also the cure for world peace, and has solved hunger & rescued stranded polar bears. Ha! I'll probably get accused of pimping milk thistle now....

I was taking TAD-600, which is Injectable Glutathione when I was feeling a bit run down.
It worked well for this, as it's the "Master Antioxidant", and can alleviate Oxidative Stress in the Body.

But if your Liver Enzymes are High.
Nothing will bring them down faster than Tudca & NAC.
A few years ago, I was on a somewhat long Blast and C R U I S E.
When my ALT & AST were over the Double the Upper Parameters on my Blood Work.
And I was taking Liv-52-DS and Milk Thistle.

I switched to Tudca & NAC, and redid the Bloodwork 28 Days later.
Both my ALT & AST were now in the Middle of the Reference Range.
So that sold me on that...................................... JP

Yeah I've heard almost all good things bout Tudaca. I even brought it up to my Doc when he had me try this Glutathione. If this don't work on bringing my enzymes down I'm going to try the Tudaca.
