Anybody Like Me?

It kind of sucks trying to look like a bodybuilder when you're 6'2" 180 lbs with the wingspan of a 747. A lot of girls say that I have a nice body, but I feel insecure when I walk on the beach with my shirt off next to my buddies. They used to play football so they're diesel as hell. I played basketball in high school and it shows. I won't even mention the fact that I have a flesh eating virus for a metabolism. I eat like these guys, I train like these guys, and I have been doing so since 1999, but I'm not as big as these guys.

I just wanted to know if there was anyone out there that is tall with a slim, long limbed, long neck physique like mine that has actually built a body that resembles a bodybuilder's physique. I really need some motivation.

Instead of eating and training like those guys, eat a better diet (more protein and complex carbs) and get training advice over in our training forum. Give it some time and you will be putting those other guys to shame.
 
Being taller and having longer limbs is a bitch im 6'1 and its much harder to look big but believe me when you put some quality mass on that frame it will look great and definatley more asthetically pleasing, Would you rather be 6'4 with long muscle bellies or 5'5 all squished and compacted? No offense to the short guys.
 
I'm 6'2 and 215 lbs. My limbs are all real long, same metabolism problems you've got. I've got to eat insane amounts to get big. How many calories are you eating a day? How are you training? Diet is the big thing. Most training programs will work for you at first, but if your diet is shit then you won't gain a thing.
 
Yep started out exactly where you were. Just keep training hard, eating right - Your meatbolism will slow down and the gains will come.

i am 6'2", 195, you just got have a better diet than those guys and work harder man, keep it up and you will pull threw.

I feel for you. I'm 6'3" and was stuck on 185lbs until about the time I turned 26, since then it has been an uphill struggle. I'm a classic ectomorph, so gaining and keeping it was a struggle. A few years later and about 6 years of lifting, I stay around 230lbs. Good luck, eat plenty of good food and lift weights like crazy.

I feel your pain, dude! I'm 6'5(without shoes) and when I was 23 I was a monster at 167 lbs and a 82'' wing span. I have been chipping away now for 6-7 years but I still look thin at 250- 10-12%. I'm still trying to solve this puzzle! I have a big lower body(30'' quads) and a decent overall upperbody(50'' chest) and my waist is pretty small at 34'' but I have sticks for arms at 17'' and my shoulders are weak. I am envious of the guys with great genetics because they don't usually have as many really poor spots. Making it worse is that I live in Vegas and the Gold's out here is full of guys that are freaking huge!
 
look at frank zane.skinny as hell one of the greatest.learn how to eat and eat big.i mean really eat and eat good stuff not just any old shit out there.oh yeah eat then eat a little more!
