Are T Injections Bio Identical?

Simple question: Is Testosterone Cypionate and Testosterone Enanthate bio identical?

I know the topical creams and gels get labeled "bio identical", but it seems to me the injectibles aren't called such?

no the esters are not bio identical so it is not considered bio identical, even though the testosterone attached to the ester is no different than what our body produces, even the ones that are different our body can not tell the difference.

It is very up in the air of bio identical is of any use for us or not.

Bio-identical seems like it's simply a marketing term to fool the gullible and/or uninformed into thinking that hormone treatment carries no risks.

Probably the best point that can be made. The term probably was developed simply because the sales department knew patients would feel more comfortable hearing the word identical. Identical probably also have some relationship with the idea of low risk as well.

Once the ester is cleaved off, the remaining stuff is "bio identical".

Forgetting the term, follow up question:

Once the ester is cleaved off, is the remaining stuff chemically and molecularly (probably the same thing, but I am no scientist) identical to actual testosterone? I am guessing it isn't, because Cyp and Enanth are different, so how could they be identical to the same Test? Or perhaps there are different types of testosterone that the body produces? (I know there are many types of estrogen and thyroid hormones.)

I know my question seems strange and indicates my lack of knowledge, but I have been on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for almost a year and am trying to get a more basic understanding instead of just "riding things out" in ignorance.

Cypionate and Enanthate are the ester names, nothing more. Once that ester has been cleaved by your body, the remaining part is simply testosterone and is no different from one or the other. There aren't any other "types" of testosterone made in the human body to my knowledge, but again - I'm not a doctor.
