I am a volunteer in the town that I live in and was wondering if there were anymore firefighters here...

That's great that you volunteer as a firefighter , must be very rewarding.

It really is Mrs P, and I feel that I am showing my kids the importance of giving back to the community that we live in.

I agree, it teaches them a sense of responsibility, and shows them that they're important enough to have an impact on someone or something else.

We volunteer at a homeles shelter & we take the kids & they help out serving food to the homeless, as they get older I want to involve them in more volunteer work.
