Are these symptoms of test flu?

For about 6 months now I've been having symptoms that resemble a cold Flem in the throat and irritated lymph nodes but I'm not sick. Tried multiple antibiotics and nothing. So is it possible to be allergic not to testosterone but the ester? I is my body recognizing this as a foreign substance?

That's a tough one bro? Could be possible but there is really no "test" to my knowledge to define your symptoms that would directly relate them to a specific ester of testosterone. I'd be inclined to think if it was test flu, that it would peak and subside in 24-48 hours. Any input on this one is appreciated, gang. I know some people think that Seasonal Affective Disorder is "all in your head", but I know I get the blues like a MOFO this time of year and my own personal HRT/TRT seems much more effective in the more pleasant 8 months of the "Midwestern" seasons. Just something to chew on, bro.

Seasonal Affective Disorder isn't something that's in your head. It's a real disorder. However, most people do not meet diagnostic criteria to be diagnosed with clinical Seasonal Affective Disorder. However, there is a causal relationship that does lead to a lower mood during these months and stems from decreased sun exposure. People in the top part of the Northern Hemisphere like Alaskans usually have higher rates of depression and suicides because of the 20 hour periods of darkness.

24-48 hr's is pretty close. But keeps repeating. What is test flu? Can it be corrected?

If your a "long ester" guy, you can try switching up to therapeutic dosing of test propionate, but that means pinning more. But if the avatar pic is your "ink", then I don't think you mind needles. Nice work.

Well assuming the testosterone is prescription and not something black market laced with god only knows what, I highly doubt it is that.

I would first look at other scripts you may be on?

Both Cholesterol and Blood pressure meds can cause these feelings.
So, what else are you taking?

Generally, the "test flu" is far more common with short ester preparations like propionate.

As a rule of thumb, the shorter the carboxylic acid chain, the greater degree of possible tissue irritation that it can induce. I mean, that's what these esters are - acids - so they can cause a localized reaction that the body will react to in a typical defensive fashion.

I, for one, have a very strong reaction to the proponic acid ester so I can't use any prop whatsoever.

Back in the days when I was competing, a single shot of prop would cause a big red welt on my butt the size of a golf ball. The welt was warm to the touch and for 24-36 hours after each and every shot I felt like I was on the verge of getting sick - low grade generalize fever, aches, tired.

I've never had that problem with either ent. or cyp. however, that doesn't preclude the possibility.

As Chip suggested, try switching to ent. if you are currently using cyp.

Regards.
