Arnold style training

i would never or ever have the time to train like Arnold did but how can you get that huge on his routine. Do you really think he trained twice a day 6 days a wk working everything out 3x a week or did he just write this in his encyclopedia to mess with people?
 
Unless your running gear, you'll never handle arnolds routine. lol, a stubburn buddy of mine is trying it right as we speak or type (which ever). :rolleyes:
 
NOBODY can handle that kind of volume and make any kind of progress... I personally feel that he was trying to impress everyone.

agreed, I believe it's humanly impossible. The way he puts it. Arnold is full of shit, he's always been that way.
 
maybe thats why guys werent as big as they are today??? yes there are other reason as well

dont get me wrong arni and franco had some great physiques but why didnt their quads match their chests/backs???
 
arnold, lou and the others except for tom platz, had really small legs. I think it was b/c they didn't care that much and/or overtrained. You see how big his arms were, i think thats b/c your arms will grow with that frequent of training and other parts won't.

for me its the other way around..platz has greatquads but wasnt he after arnold??

not doing direct arm work my arms have gotten bigger..most people overtrains arms which is the reason why we see so many threadas about how to get arms to grwo lol
 
Arnolds training was overtraining...Serge Nubret used to do reps in the 100 range his workouts lasted hrs upon hrs counterproductive to say the least
 
It's all about the Juice man. Also everyone's body is different, what works for one man/woman might not work for the other.

I tried his beginer workout for a month... I had great gains for 3 weeks then off the edge of the cliff I went. Everything ached all the time constantly. Not saying it didn't work for him... just saying its impossible that it worked for him :) I think he was fucking with everyone.
 
im doing 6 days a week, 3+ hrs a day routine in the gym..i do one main body part and then when i finish it with millions of sets(which takes 2 hrs or so) .. i touch other items lightly like abs forearms ,neck ,bicep curls etc

and i m just doing a light d-b0l m1t cycle at the moment

I think arnold published that crap to mess with everyones head - he is notorious for f*cking with people. Listen to some of the stuff he did backstage before contests to people .... That dude cocky. i'm suprised no one ever tried to fight him (or maybe they did).
