Aromasin vs Arimidex... which is better?

More specifically..

1. Is one less toxic than the other?
2. Does on yield better results?
3. Ive heard there's less estrogen rebound with Aromasin, is this true?
4. Which ones do you all prefer?

I've never tried Arimidex. Right now I'm using aromasin as my AI and so far so good. I'm taking 12.5mg per day with no sides.

From what I've read Aromasin will bind to the aromatase enzyme permanently blocking it. Your body will create more so it's gotta be used at least EOD. But that's why there's no rebound if used at a proper dose during PCT.

I've heard from people that it is weak compared to other AIs, but it's working for me.

are you using it for PCT or ON Cycle?

1. Aromasin is better for your lipid profile
2. Both accomplish the same task
3. Yes, because Aromasin is a suicidal inhibitor, which means it permanently binds to the aromatase enzyme. This can be dangerous though if you crash your estro with it, as it will take a long time to come back.
4. I prefer Arimidex, because Aromasin gave me shedding.

- shedding off?

1) they both have similar side effects but are generally well tolerated. Adex can affect your lipid profile.

2) adex is far more effective on a mg for mg basis but both can be used effectively to control estradiol.

3) with proper use of adex, one can limit or prevent estrogen rebound making the difference negligible.

4) I prefer adex. It does not affect my lipids, it's much cheaper, I need less of it, and it starts working more quickly than aromasin.

Great feedback everyone. It seems with initial reading into AI's that aromasin is the best, but then you all remind me that everyone responds different due to their genetics. I ran aromasin with my first two test cycles, and I am now convinced to try out adex and compare the two.

rebounds are like bigfoot, everyone talks about them, but no one has ever seen one of them. The toxicity claims are born from studies on women taking 10 times the dosage we do, so doesn't matter.

For these reasons, I'd always recommend Aromasin over other AI's. If you start with a low dose and titrate upwards, you can avoid the risk of crashing your estro.

... What does proper use entail?

Using bloodwork to monitor E2 levels and running it up until you begin your PCT. At that point serum test levels will be low enough that aromatization goes back to normal instead of being elevated due to high testosterone levels or whichever aromatizing compound you use.
