There are sources out there that sell gear in bottles with screw-on lids. They state that they require "aseptic" drawing. The prices are excellent, about halfway between brewing and ugl.
If a person were to buy this gear and transfer it into sterile vials, would it be possible to heat the vials to ensure the gear is sterile?
If it needs to be filtered first, i think brewing would probably be the better choice.
