Assault on Abs

The Kitchen-Sink Abs Workout

We don’t typically like to find ourselves in confusing situations because confusion breeds stress and anxiety. But muscle confusion? Well that’s another story entirely, because muscle tissue grows when it’s directly stressed, and the last thing you want is for your body to grow comfortable with a given training routine — that’s a recipe for stagnation.

What makes this program different is that you’re not going to follow a single strategy when it comes to ab training, such as when you do three sets of crunches at the end of your daily workout. Instead, you’re going to follow multiple approaches, whether you’re at the gym or at home.

Standing Cable Crunch 3x12-15
Reverse Crunch on Incline Board 3x12-15
Decline Russian Twist with Medicine Ball 3x1minute
Double Crunch 3xTo Failure

Ummm.... perhaps your kitchen sink workout needs this for variety (I know it isn't a guy thing but...) whilst juggling pots, pans, food etc, add the occasional diversion such as scrubbing floor or fixtures while cooking is not requiring full attention. Alternative diversions include filling empty water bottles & moving them to next point of use, running up/down stairs with laundry, taking out garbage .... :D :naughty:
