avoiding post-cycle depression/stupid noob questions

Hi Guys,

I've been doing a lot of reading and research lately (lots on this forum, great membership!). I have read quite a bit about when your T levels crash and estrogen spikes when you stop your test, and even SERM like nolva/clomid wouldn't necessarily help as there is still a ton of estrogen circulating in your blood. Would adding something like arimidex to my post cycle therapy help with this? I read so much conflicting information about post cycle therapy with some advocating HCG and some saying that it will simply delay your body's endogenous LH release even more. Strongly considering my first cycle just trying to figure out the last few pieces to the puzzle before I decide to pull the trigger.

I was about to throw up a new thread regarding this. I wanted to wait until I was more well read on the subject but, since you've brought it up hopefully some vets and experienced users will see this thread. I've read so much shit lately about how SERMS nowadays are obsolete and it's more effective/safer to run HCG, OTC products, and AIs in PCT to restart htpa function---and to completely avoid SERMS.

I've actually read so much conflicting shit that I'm pushing off my first AAS cycle until I'm comfortable with a solid post cycle therapy (pct). I need to start saving the articles I read but here are 2 quick links I've came across lately on elitefitness.

what goes up must come down, its part of the game, learn to manage your down time and realize the extra boost is gone and calm down your routines in gym, take up outdoor activities and think positive

If you're that worried about it then take an antidepressant- natural OR prescription. I take St. John's Worst to help bring up my mood. Whether it is placebo or not, it really does help.

I'm not so much worried by the depression, I can handle that (been doing so for a while heh). I'm more concerned about the large amount of contradictory information I see on post-cycle therapy and would like to try and make sure I'm doing things optimally. Does anyone know if Adex helps with post-cycle depression.
