I'm definitely going to take AAS. What would you do if you were in my situation? If I see a dermatologist do I tell them I'm on AAS? I was going to take accutane a while ago but I heard it causes bad joint pain and that's the last thing I need while bb
Your best plan of attack is get the acne cleared properly first. I have experience with both pubertal and AAS induced acne, and also with accutane.
First of all if your considering accutane I'm gonna go ahead and assume you have trued everything else already (supplements, creams, hygeine, exfoliation etc.) if you havent tried it yet i recommend high dose zinc, worked wonders for me.
If you use AAS while you still have bad acne its gonna get real bad like ripped said. You will more than likely end up with bad permanent scarring, which imo defeats the purpose of having a good physique in the first place. Not to mention it can get extremely painful.
Accutane works by shrinking the sebacious glands - the glands responsible for secreting sweat, bacteries etc. through the skin. Once they've shrunk enough your acne will probably completely clear.
I used accutane for my pubertal acne, from memory it took maybe 3-4months to be completely clear with perfect skin. Never had an issue for years, until i did my first cycle of test.
A big hormonal rush like you will experience using gear can and probably will (as in my case) 'reopen' or enlarge the sebacious glands again, which will result in your acne coming back. This may not happen with you and ill mention mine did not come back nearly as bad. Rather than do another cycle of accutane i opted for zinc supplementation this time round and over about 4-6 weeks have returned to normal.
So in summary; get your accutane treatment done and dusted, clear your skin, and begin zinc supplementation (100mg daily) starting from before 2 weeks before your first injection and run zinc until end of PCT (or even longer.)
That should keep you good to go
