Update: Had the same reaction second time. Details in post #8.
Update 2: Well, everyone was right. It was all in my head. I've done two more shots since my last post and both went great. Definitely getting more comfortable with it as I go.
Hi all,
So today was the beginning of my first cycle, first time shooting anything. I decided to go with test prop, which I know many will say not to use for one's first cycle, but I didn't make this thread to debate that.
Here's what happened during my injection:
Followed all the procedures from the Injection Tips thread on this forum. Stuck it in (right glute)- was shaking a lot and the angle could've been more direct but overall not bad. Didn't even feel the needle and didn't feel any pain from the prop. I was pushing pretty slowly (~35 seconds total time) through a 1 inch 23g needle.
However, about halfway through the 1.5 ml I started to feel flushed. My head was swimming, started sweating a bit, got a bit queasy. I finished up the injection and ran to the bathroom with phone in hand, just in case. The symptoms went away after 5 minutes. Now I'm fine, if not a little shaken up.
So, anyone more experienced know what happened? I've heard of test flu, but people seem to say that it comes the next day or so and lasts much longer. Was it a reaction to the propionic acid? Is it okay to keep using it? Will I have this reaction every time?
The prop is Optimal Labs, which seems to be pretty highly regarded on the net.
Thanks in advance for your help
