Beta-alanine the next big thing

Been taking 3 grams/day for a week now along with the 2.2 g Creatine EE I was already taking. Nothing to note yet performance wise, but the tingles have subsided now. For the first 4 or 5 days, within minutes of ingesting the Beta Alanine my body would itch uncontrolably for about an hour. Not tingling, but itching like I was rolling in wet grass. I'll be surprised if the average consumer sticks with it long enough to get past the tingling...was pretty intense for me. Shouldn't be a problem for most people here though. Mixes really well in water and is pretty much tasteless (slightly sweet). Will update in a week or so.

Been on for a month now and haven't noticed shit.

I think a natty would feel the effects more than someone who uses gear. If one is used to feeling say, Dbol kick in I don`t think they will be all that impressed with BA or any other natural (OTC) supplement on the market. It`s the same with Creatine. I don`t really find I feel Creatine kick in, its gradual for me. But when I come off I miss the extra muscle endurance and pump that creatine brings. I didn`t notice it while on because it was gradual and slowly`kicked in`, but when i came off and the effects of creatine went away I missed them.

Oh yah. I took 1g of BA this morning. About 15 minutes later my left hand and wrist began to itch. Now my ears are itching. It`s not BAD, just awkward.

Yah the articles I read said to dose 3-6 grams, so I started with 4g and cut back to 3g after a few days. I think maybe being a smaller guy I should have started with 1g and worked my way up. As far as creatine goes, I gain 8 or 10 pounds the first week every time I start back on it. I know that beta alanine doesn't share the water effect with creatine however. Time will tell wether or not they share similar endurance enhancing effects. It's not expensive enough to make me mad if it doesn't work.

Easto i know you heard about the vegetable isolate :-)

Heard good things and damn its only 4$ something per lb.

I have about 50lbs of the TeamSKIP blend at home right now. I have to get through this stuff first, then I will be on to the veggie protein for a taste test.

If you give it a try make sure to drop a review over here.

True, but I've been off for over a year now. I can tell when I come on and off creatine these days -- not only appearance but performance wise as well. But nothing yet for beta alanine. I'm just not going to get my hopes up of this being anything great. Then again, I'm just one person, hardly a standardized scientific analysis.

The itching is kind of a pain in the ass. Today was a bit more intense than yesterday, but it only lasted about 15 minutes.

Like mentioned, I can see this side being a reason a lot of people stop using it.
