Biggest pet peeve at the gym?

I zone out everything while at the gym. However when I see people not reracking their dumbells & just leaving them lying on the floor everywhere I get a little irritated.
Same thing with the leg press. Don't load 10 45lb plates each side & leave it for some 105lb gal to rerack.:flamingma
 
If im jumping between say curling dumbells and pressing chest and some guy changes the weight and lays on the bench staring at the ceiling for five minutes.
 
ego weenies,. the ones who tries to lift a lot of weights when they see you lifting a lot of weights. seriously, what is wrong with them?
 
I second the squat rack curls but also people who do half reps on everything because they think they can lift more than they really can.
 
Benches

People that don't wipe down the machines and benches after they sweat all over them!!! Nasty!!
 
People who follow you around trying to have conversations with you during their...."5 minutes between sets"

I go to the gym to do work. I put my headphones on and zone out....mind my fucking business. I don't go to pic up women, flex in the mirror between sets and not have a 3 hour talk up at the squat rack!

I don't mind people asking me if i'm on a machine or something....but this dude at the gym (who has a beer gut mind you) follows people around all morning trying to give them better advice about lifting. LMAO!! I went off on him last week, told him stop fucking talking to me.

LOL we have people like that at my gym too. I wish it was easier for me to be that blunt.
 
The guy who wears the 90's baggy workout outfit, think he knows everything and feels the need to be a chatty bitch for each 3 hour workout cuz he has 10 minute rest periods between sets - every gym has one.

I'd have to say:

-Horrid top forty music - that you hear over and over and over and over again lol

-Those who wear cologne/perfume to "cover up" their BO - I walk away gagging with tears in my eyes from the stench....

-Watching people drive around the parking lot just to find the closest parking spot to the gym.. um..

It pisses me off when I am lifting and Brittney Spears of Kesha come on.... im like wtf?

Days I forget my MP3's sucks...


Mine is probably people who sit on benches and take up space while doing nothing. Also, guys that think they are "tha bomb". And just talk back and forth with their buddies for 30 minutes while performing a total of 1 set the entire time.

Hands down mofos on thier cell phones. dedicate some time to your workout and yourself and get off your phone for at least one hour to workout. ive seen ppl do an entire cardio workout while talking on thier phone inconsiderate bastard i dnt wanna hear your conversation
 
Today I was doing standing military press in the power cage. I'm doing 5x5 and I was on my 5th set. I finished my fifth rep and as I go to rack the weight, some idiot walks right in front of the bar to put a 5 lb plate back. I'm looking his way to avoid hitting him in the head with the barbell and I miss racking the other side because of it. The plates fall off and now my fucking wrist is injured 3 weeks into my cycle. Damn people are stupid.
