I am on trt 250mg once a week

I am going for blood donation today but it is also my pin day.

I am thinking first to go for donation and after i return home to take my shot of test e 250mg.

1)Is it ok to do it like this?

2) how many days should i take off training ?

Yes its ok. After you donate they will tell you no strenuous exercise or work for 24 hrs.

Personally I think they are being conservative and extra safe... I have gone to the gym later in the day after donation and felt fine.

Thank you my friend.

Its time for test e now. :) and food

Why would it matter at all that you are doing your injection and donation on the same day? What is your line of thinking as to why this should be a concern?

Where I'm at they specifically ask if I have taken any hormones in the last 2 weeks. They also ask if I've had any sexual relations with men in the last 6 months. Both for different reasons. Different country though.

After, the tell me not to smoke, drink alcohol, train or use a sauna. Where I donate, the restrictions aren't as high as with the Japan RC.

The injection is a depot; you don't get very much of the hormone into your blood stream from the depot for 24-48hrs.

They tell you not to strain yourself physically for three reasons:

1. Plasma loss. Most folks don't drink enough water as is, so exercise/strenuous activity may push you into dehydration.

2. They don't want you to reopen the access site where they drew from. They're using a HARPOON to draw your blood, putting that chunk of steel into a good vein, and it takes time to close up properly. Forcing blood through that area could cause it to open, and have you bleed - which would freak out some folks.

3. Less red blood cells = slightly less oxygen saturation in your blood stream. This could make smaller folks slightly hypoxic, which might lead to them passing out on the gym floor. Probably not an issue for the majority of us in this forum, but that's the FDA playing mommy.

It's mostly to prevent people from potentially injuring themselves, and blaming the Red Cross.

My .02c :)
