if you have high LH and low T then that would indicate primary hypogonadism which means the problem lies in your testicles rather than your pituitary. if that is the case, hcg would be ineffective since your testicles are not responding to LH stimulation.
This makes sense. I'm not an expert on HCG-monotherapy or even TRT ... I'm just on TRT. This was just a lay person suggestion on my part. The OP is at ~470 so his T is not all that low (my doc would not put me on T with levels like this at 39 years old) but his estrogen seems pretty low. He was also a bit hesitant to just start with T and get shut down. So if HCG pushed his T levels up just a bit and got his estrogen levels up, that might provide some relief at least for a while.
In any event, the OP has a doctor he can consult with - so he's got access to some more expert advice than mine.
