Hey guys.I would really appreciate some support & advise on some events that happaned to me & causing me some worries & most of all delaying my training progress & my next cycle.
History: Been juicing five times in the last six years.Last cycle was finished three & a half months ago & lasted for six weeks(all the rest were max five weeks each) & included test, primobolan & winstrol.By the end of it i got a strange light sore on my biceps(it might be brachio or one of the others there)which does'nt go away & makes my training limitted eventhough gave it a rest for sometimes.I went to my doc to test my blood & consult my biceps soreness(i do blood tests very often during & after cycling). My doc was'nt satisfied with the results, which have been taken three months after inhibition.Looking back at my former blood tests would show same results but only during the cycle, while after that liver funcs would go back to normal, which they have'nt this time.I really wonder how often do other guys test themselvs & in what level do you reduce or stop.I was hoping to get ready for a new cycle, hoping i'll get over my biceps soon, but it looks like the results plus the biceps are keeping me away & that makes me very upset....
my blood results:
ALT (GPT) - 99 u/i (range runs 10-31)
AST (GOT)- 71 u/i (range runs 10-37) both are liver funcs.
ck - 598 u/i(rang runs 0-171) my doc says that's an indication regarding my muscle soreness which is caused from over training...(???)
Creatinine (B)-mg/dl 1.5 (range runs 0.84-1.25) kidneys func.
If there anybody with some experiense about this please share it with me 'cause it really makes me down, feel usless in the gym eventhough i don't stop & try to stay optimistic & enjoy what i'm capable of achiving now, hoping i will get over my soreness & my blured cycle planes.
Peace !

Hyperlipidimia? I had similar results that returned to normal only after adjusting my diet a bit and giving it plenty of time. Whats different? Do you drink? Did you add orals in the later cycles? Higher doses of anything hepatoxic? Did you fast before the test?

Keep us informed as to your status. I'm not a medical professional, but still, I don't understand why your levels are elevated on those tests. If I understand correctly, these levels mean that your liver is presently being damaged....the tests don't measure previous liver damage. Of course, they tests indirectly check for liver damage.

Even mildly toxic dosages of those steroids should have been out of your system long ago. Still, we can't rule out the possibility that this is indirectly related to your Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) usage.

Did the doc happen to check other things? Like CBC? Well, I guess everything else was probably normal, or else you would have mentioned it.

Don't get too upset over this. Your good decision to go to get your blood tested pre and post cycle was a smart move, and this proves it. Most guys that do gear don't do same, and then make the claim that they are perfectly healthy.

In the meantime, be nice to the 'ol liver. e.g. absolutely no alcohol.

I was told that in the past that previous damage to the liver caused by steroids was inaccurately recorded due to an improper analysis of the liver enzymes. Don't quote me on this because I am recalling this study from memory, but I believe that the muscles exert the same type of enzymes they use to measure your liver. If you have been working out consistantly, it is possible to get false enzyme readings. Especially if you worked out before being tested. The World Health Organization (WHO) determined that the studies on liver damage and steroids in the United States were wrong due to improper testing. They have gone on to say that there is no proof that steroids cause death, and the only people who have ever died from steroids were later found to have had a predisposed condition to begin with, and/or were on them for no less than 4 years streight. When you get rechecked, don't wokout a week before you go. Does your doctor know of your steroid use? If not, I would'nt recommend telling him. His/her answer to the problem will be a misinformed one most likely. Even doctors watch too much tv.

Where did you read this at?

Your ALT, and AST are high and that is pretty imortant. As far as your ck and creatinine levels, as far as I know your doc is correct concerning ck possibly being related to muscle soreness, but your creatinine is also high and that is normal in people with increased muscle mass too. I would be more concerned with the liver enzymes than the creatinine kinase and creatinine levels
