Guys,

I've been off cycle for 2 months now and just got my blood results back. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on them?

Cholesterol -- 140 mg/dl
Triglycerides -- 31 mg/dl
HDL-C -- 53 mg/dl
CHOL/HDL-C -- 2.6
LDL-C (Direct Method) -- 70 mg/dl
LDL-C/HDL-C -- 1.3

Estradiol -- 15 pg/ml
LH -- 1.95 mIU/ml
FSH -- 2.26 mIU/ml
Prolactin -- 7.09 ng/ml

Total Test -- 402 ng/dl
SHBG -- 36 nmal/l
Albumin -- 37 gm/l
Free Test (cFT) -- 83 p/ml
% Free Test -- 2.07%
Bioavailable Test -- 169 ng/dl
% Bioavailable Test -- 42%

Lipid results definitely look good, but I haven't got a clue about the hormone results.

These are how the results came, no consultation at all. I got the bloods drawn up at a hospital in Bangkok and they just e-mailed me the results today.

I hope I'm OK!

Thanks,
Koi.

Can you post the lab values so we can see where the levels stand? Every lab is different in regards to their "normal" value levels.

I'm guessing the lab values are the reference ranges? I'll add these now and re-post.

Here you go!

Cholesterol -- 140 mg/dl -- Ref Range 0-200
Triglycerides -- 31 mg/dl -- Ref Range 0-150
HDL-C -- 53 mg/dl -- Ref Range 35-130
CHOL/HDL-C -- 2.6 -- Ref Range 0-4.6
LDL-C (Direct Method) -- 70 mg/dl -- Ref Range 0-130
LDL-C/HDL-C -- 1.3 -- Ref Range 0-3

Estradiol -- 15 pg/ml -- NO Ref Range --
LH -- 1.95 mIU/ml -- NO Ref Range --
FSH -- 2.26 mIU/ml -- NO Ref Range --

Prolactin -- 7.09 ng/m -- Ref Range 3.46-19.40

Total Test -- 402 ng/dl -- Ref Range 300-950
SHBG -- 36 nmal/l -- Ref Range 10-60
Albumin -- 37 gm/l -- Ref Range 38-50
Free Test (cFT) -- 83 p/ml -- Ref Range 90-300
% Free Test -- 2.07% -- Ref Range 2-5
Bioavailable Test -- 169 ng/dl -- Ref Range 72-235
% Bioavailable Test -- 42%

Using the reference range I can see that my Albumin and Free Test readings are under the normal range. Oh dear, does this mean my d*ck is going to drop off and I'll grow breasts? :bigok:

I assume that from the above readings everything has gone back to normal. I will e-mail the labs back and ask for the reference ranges for Estradiol, LH & FSH.

Sorry I made a mistake. It's been 8 weeks since my last shot of test.e and 5 weeks since I finished PCT.

I'm 34 years old. My cycle was 13 weeks of test.e @ 500mg/week.

My PCT wasn't great as I had a bad reaction to both nolvadex and clomid. Nolvadex made me very ill and gave me insomnia. I had to run clomid. Clomid made me ill as well so I had to run a small dose.

I ran clomid at 25mg/day for 3 weeks.

Your test level falls into normal range, but really it's quite low for your age. Have you always had low test level?

As for pct, usual dose of clomid is 50mg for 4 to 6 weeks, so imo there's a chance you used too little of clomid and your test level hasn't fully recovered yet. The last time I used clomid was 100mg daily for first two weeks and then 50mg daily for the final two weeks for a total of 4 weeks.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I didn't get my bloods checked before my cycle, so I don't know what my previous test levels were.

I'll be near the hospital again in 6 weeks time, so I will get my test levels checked again. Hopefully they will have increased.

Thanks for the reply,
Koi.
