so you are angry because more dr's don't prescribe steroids or as u call it "hrt" to ppl with mildly depressed testerone levels?? do you sugges Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for post-menopausal women to prevent symptoms such as hot flashes or stress fractures secondary to osteopenia (which actually has a significant mortality rate)?? you understand replacing a hormone for the rest of your life is not a joke, there are alot of consequences, alot of which are unknown because this is not a extensively researched subject as far as test goes, given legality issues. we know that hormone replacement has a clear link to multiple cancers in women, which is why this is no longer the standard of care for postmenopausal women. just like types of prostate cancers have testosterone markers. I don't know what your background is or your knowlege about medicine, but for you to blast physicians for not prescribing testosterone to ppl demonstrates your minimal depth of knowlege. if things were as simple as just replacing a deficient hormone, type 1 diabetics wouldn't have such a high morbidity rate, being that we give them exogenous insulin. 90% of the ppl on here go ape shit if some1 under 21 comes on here for advice for steroids, but ppl talk about Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and "blastin and cruisin" as if it is no biggie. yea i know you have been on this board for a while and are well respected, and i am sure many of your cronies will soon jump in to point this out and flame me. not trying to get at you, its just crazy some of the stuff the "respected" ppl on this board post. reading internet articles, being a veteran on forums and reading bullshit studies with no scientific merit does not make some1 an expert on steroids. a little bit of knowlege can be dangerous......
Honestly, most "docs" say that if your total test level is 300, that you are healthy and "in range"...
All any of these tests are is simply a "marker" to show where a certain level of whatever is being tested, lays. IMO, its only "a lot of crap" if some egotistical, ASSHOLE "physician or M.D." CHOOSES not to interpret it properly. Just as most of these COCKSACKS CHOOSE to say we are perfectly healthy even if our test levels are in the tank! Furthermore, I'd bet my ass that an Oncologist would find great value in a test that shows markers for cancer. I'm not sure if the doc you are referring to is an Onco or not, but if not, it doesn't surprise me that he finds little/no value in a test related to an area of medicine that he has no expertise in. I hope you don't think I'm coming at you, bro, I'm not. I just have little/no use for most docs in general. I lost my mom to breast cancer, due in part to some inept FUCKS, and "Doc Talk" tends to fry my ass.
