Bloodwork: Is it okay to be on anti anxiety drugs like Xanax?

I still have a bit of needle phobia (this will be my first cycle) so I took some Xanax before having my blood taken. Would this affect my results at all? Testosterone? Cortisol? Others?

Not a chemist, but to my knowledge Benzos act only on GABA. I can't really see any reason how it would affect the relevant markers. Anything wrong with consulting your doctor or whomever on this? It's not uncommon for people to have needlephobia (although a little ironic given what you're about to do)
