Lately while training i have been getting the worse headaches. a buddy at the gym claims that he has had the same problem in the past and went to a doctor about it, the doctor referred to it as blowing a fuse, anyone ever hear about it?
It happens because you are straining your face and forehead when you lift. I know it sounds odd but try to relax your face muscles. Don't tense them up, and I bet you will not get as many headaches.
Probably right about the tense muscles causing the headache, generally if the muscles are in your neck you will have pain in the back of your head. Traps cause cause pain that feels like it's in your head.
I've read that high blood pressure can cause headaches. I wonder if the temporary increase of blood pressure from lifting could cause these.
