Bodyweight workouts or weight lifting?

Both bodyweight training and weight lifting can help you build muscle, improve cardiovascular health, and improve balance and coordination. However, bodyweight training is better for beginners, while weight lifting is better for experienced lifters.

Bodyweight Workouts:
  • Pros: Can be done anywhere, minimal equipment required, improves flexibility and functional strength, promotes body control.
  • Cons: May be limited in resistance for building muscle mass, progression can be challenging for some exercises.
Weight Lifting:
  • Pros: Efficient for building muscle mass and strength, allows for precise load progression, and versatility in training different muscle groups.
  • Cons: Requires access to weights and equipment, may have a steeper learning curve for beginners.
