My Bro just bought a Bowflex revolution home gym with resistance weight like training. The thing I am noticing is it is ALOT harder to push weight on this machine then with free weights. ON chest at the gym easily doing 90 pound dumbells, but when I put the bowflex machine to 65/75 pounds a side and try to bench it its almost impossible and i can get like 5 reps max. I still get sore and the burn but it feels too hard. This is a used machine, but my questions was is this normal with resistance like machines? are they suppose to be that much harder?
