Brown rice, sweet potato, and alternatives...

Why not just eat the foods you like? I can see that this is obviously a age-old 'bodybuilders' diet.

I have been good so far sourcing my macros from foods like pizza, chips and curries. Your body cannot tell where the macro nutrients are coming from, whether thats 20g of protein from a curry or 20g of protein from a expensive steak.

All the stuff u mentioned is high in sodium and other stuff, roids and high in sodium dont mix to good bro
I throw in a cheat meal once or twice a week to shock the body or to keep my mind sane, but your body gets acustom to eating clean u just gotta find ways to spice your food up

There's nothing wrong with high sodium foods and AAS unless your BP is high. You're not shocking the body with a cheat meal or two per week. Your body knows exactly what's going on and has absolutely no problem adapting to it.

Brown rice? lol, people still follow these "clean eating" bullshit? i used to be one of the victims of clean foods. the body doesnt know if you're eating brown rice or white rice, every carb will turn to sugar anyway, just eat the foods you enjoy, I try to get 40-45g of fiber a day then eat whatever carb sources i want, mostly white rice, oats, any kind of potaotes, bananas and lots of rice cake.

X2

What is mojadara? I've not even heard about it.

This is the best pic I could find. Mojadra is more of a soup but can't find a good pic for some reason. It's a dish found in the Middle East.

Matt, eating 6meals a day doesn't boost your metabolism. That's a lie perpetuated by the supplement companies and BB'ing industry. Your metabolism depends on how MUCH you eat not how often. Thermic effect of food (TEF) is around 10%.

1) 6 meals a day of 500cals each = 3000cals/day
500cals x 10% = 50cals/meal x 6meals = 300cals burned from eating food

2) 2 meals a day of 1500cals each = 3000cals/day
1500cals x 10% = 150cals/meal x 2 meals = 300cals burned from eating food

^^^whether you eat 2 meals or 6 your metabolism due to food is the same.

As said above, it won't actually boost your metabolism buddy.

And you can, aslong as you count your macros.

I like quinoa, cooks easily in a rice cooker. Salt, balsamic vinegar, italian herbs, garlic powder etc... make it even better. Carbs, protein, fiber and fat in it too instead of just carbs and fiber.
