Recently shot 1/2 cc of sust in my left glute without any problems. Made sure to aspirate and nothing felt wrong with this shot. Got out of the shower today and my gf asked me wtf happened to my ass. Looked it the mirror and it was all bruised up and hurt like a mofo. Shot glutes plenty of times before and never had this happen. Any idea of what it might be???

I have had this problem before myself. I actually posted about it a month ago. Do a search for the thread and see what people said. To sum it up, it sounds like some people just bruise easier than others. For what it's worth, I never bruise when I shoot in the delt or the quad. My own evaluation of the bruising is that it's because shooting in the glute is difficult to reach and it increases the chance of you moving the needle around while it's in you.
