Who ever told u that doesn't know what their talking about. Now if that much air went into a vein IDK ? Into the muscle though ur fine. It's best to get all the air out 1st though, why would u inject 1/2CC of air knowing it ? That's kind of silly man.

It takes 3cc of air injected DIRECTLY into vein to kill you. you are fine, dude.

Ur not an idiot, ur just less experienced like Poly said. We all have to start somewhere, were not perfect at 1st. Granted some prolly did a lil more research then u did and stuff. But that doesn't make u an idiot. Get all the air out next time, even if it mean letting a lil bit come thru the pin. Make sure u asperate (spelling) before u inject. When u asperate ur gonna see some air in the syringe, u only need to see minimal. No need to pull a whole CC u know what I mean ? If u see blood re pin.

you always get the major bubbles out always its in any steroid injection info site...
on monday thought i guess i went through a vein and i pulled my needle out a tad bc i thought it was to deep and there was no blood until after i injected and in my needle alot of blood came out and i broke out in a massive massive massive dripping sweat and my hearing and eye site was fading i felt like i was going to die or pass out... by far the scariest thing i have ever been through im still nervous to inj again but i guess its all part of the game!!!!

Where did you inject??
Just an fyi here it is almost impossible to pack enough air into a I'm shot for it to hurt u...all it will cause is pain sometimes....intravenously it can take anywhere from 300 to 500cc of air to cause and air emboli big enough to hurt u....some people may say less some may say more but trust me I learned this through critical care docs and I am in critical care myself....air emboli are rare in healthy adults
