Building a bigger chest with a powerlifting routine

Don't know how active this part of the forum is, but hopefully I can get some responses. My chest is falling behind the rest of my body parts. There was a point where I'd train chest 2 times a week (72 hours apart). The best results have been from DB pressing on the flat bench, but I would really like to be able to barbell bench on my chest day. Would a 5x5 routine or other powerlifting routines be beneficial for building a bigger chest? More weight=tearing more fibers=bigger chest? Idk could be completely off here, just really trying to find something that works. Normal routine is flat bench 4 sets 15,12,8,4-6...incline... 3 x 12 10 6-8... cable flyes... 3 x 12-15 and 2 triceps exercises to finish off them as secondary muscles on chest day. Thanks in advance.

The only way of training that has allowed me to grow is heavy weight low rep. The main compound movements Ill do sets of 1-6, all accessory work Ill do reps of 8+
