Bulkcycle>Cutcycle or Cleancycle>Cleancycle

Sorry for the weird topictitle and not thinking of something better than "Cleancycle".

So let's say I want to look as good as possible in 1 year or so, for a photoshoot (which is not the case but let's assume). I don't have to be diced to 4% but cut to 10%bf or something.

Stats now:
Length: 1,78m
Weight: 91kg (200lbs)
bf: 15%

And let's say I want to do 2 cycles and want to go off between the cycles. Is it better to:

1. Have a bulkcycle and add as much muscle as possible while keeping bf as low as possible/the same and then cut with the 2nd cycle.

2. Eat around maintenance with test/tren for example and try to lose a few %bf and add some muscle and do this 2 times.

Or maybe even other suggestions?

IMO natty anyway staying lean is the best way to go. if your diet is in check there is never a need to go above 15% bf.. ever.... if you're a bodybuilder of course.

IMO a "bulk" should be more strict that a "cut"

How about lets not think about 'what ifs' and start thinking about what you actually want to achieve and set some goals for yourself. I think that would he a better way to approach this my friend. Wht do yoi want to do? Do you wanna grow and build muscle amd have a bodybuilder look? Or would you rather have a lean physique like a physique comeptator? You cant accomplish ever goal at once so we need to have a start point as to what you want.

@protein fiend.......In no way shape or form should a bulk be more strict than a cut.

How old are you?

I want to be as big as possible with a bf of about 8-10%. I don't want to go on stage (yet) so no need for me to go to 5%bf or so. That's why I want to know the best way to get there.

1 year is plenty of time for a nice heavy bulk and a hard cut. That's what I'd do. Don't dirty bulk because that just adds unnecessary fat and eating junk doesn't necessarily help add muscle. Eat a ton of good calories and time your macros properly and you should be able to bulk hard without gaining too much fat. Then cut hard up until the shoot.

What youre saying about a dirty bulk could be true. Whether I agree or not totally depends on his bodytype and metabolism. If he is anything other than an ectomorph then I agree but if he is in fact an ecto and has trouble gaining weight then hes gonna have to bulk hard and ditry. Of course respect as always Joz.

What type of body do you have OP?

Are you super lean with a fast metabolism that allows you to eat everything under the sun and not get fat, or not?

I know you said 15% but itd be nice to get an idea of how your body reacts to food consumption.

And how old are you?

Yes of course. I often neglect that variable when touching on this subject. I have no problem gaining weight, just not the weight I want lol. Clean bulking is the only option for this guy.

I think starting off with a bulk when the OP is already 15%bf is a bad idea.

OP, how many cycles have you ran so far? how many years training consistently?

My personal approach assuming you only want to run 2 cycles would depend on the answer to those questions :)
