Bulking for two weeks at a time?

Someone came to me with this theory and I have never come across it before. Don't want to post sources as I'm guessing your not allowed but basically the bones of it are that you should not bulk for more than two weeks at a time because the anabolic window is only 2 weeks and after that estrogen levels etc rise and your body stores mostly fat from the excess calories. So the recommendation is to drop below maintenance for 1-2 weeks before bulking again.

Has anyone tried this and do any diet experts see this as having any merit?

Also I'm just starting a Test/Deca bulk - do steroids change how applicable this theory is?

Cheerz.

That is a crock of sh*t. The gear creates a more calorie friendly environment and you utilize the extra calories to build muscle rather then fat. And you can lean bulk with out any aas, you can do a natural lean bulk. Everything boils down to diet and regimen.

I have gained quite a lot of fat on a lean bulk before but I never used an AI so my estrogen levels were possibly too high.

I don't believe it's one rule for everyone, maybe some people like myself would benefit from this approach. I don't want to waste a week on the juice though if there isn't much behind it. A few 'experts' have recommend it but one did mention for a natural body-builder.

When you bulk do you do any cardio? It's completely up to your regimen. Do you gain fat when not cycling? Then why would you be more prone to gain fat on cycle? That is completely opposite to how the body functions. If you're gaining fat on cycle then you need to add a little cardio on certain days and go hard and burn some calories then spend the rest of the week sponging up the calories. But if you don't sit around all week gaining fat then why would you on cycle? There is no logic behind this at all bro. Any and every one is going t o agree with me.
