Bulking On/Off cycle

Im currently on my first cycle and have completed 6 weeks of the 12. Ive gained 10 pounds so far and strength is just starting to really go up. My plan is to do a long bulk until I reach around 235-240. Im currently 5-11 and 205. My main question is protein/calorie needs for my current weight for me to continue to progress in weight. Im getting around 4000 calories and 300g protein daily right now. Also im getting pretty bloated lately and im thinking the 200g in protein skakes might be the cause. Im taking 3 75g shakes in between 3 meals, is 75 too much for one sitting or should I spread them out more?

your taking 200g in protien shakes and your taking in 300g of protien?? u mean to say 2/3rd of your protien intake is from shakes??????

Yes, I guess I was looking for the quickest easiest route to get in plenty of protein. Please explain what is wrong with taking that many grams in shakes.
 
shakes are made for pwo only.. they are fast absorbing, which means they leave your body fast..

i personally believe shakes will do 1/8th of what real whole foods will do for you... unless your taking them with meals as a suppliment which will slow down the digestive process...

also, shakes absorb harder then real food.. as in.. less of that shake will absorb into your body then, for example, chicken.. etc..

shakes do not fire up your metabolism..

real food fires up your metabolism...

if i were u, i'd click on the link for my free diet advice thread in my signature and read through post one.. do whats asked.. and have your diet critiqued...

from the looks of your avi your not doing so bad.. but if you wanna bulk, theres a way of doing it and then theres the right way of doing it...

dude.. u are lazy as fuck man... no offense.
shakes are a "supplement"... so u have to use it like a "supplement"... only times one should have a shake is: first thing in the morning maybe 30-40G of protein, and after workout maybe 50-60 grams with high glycemic carbs.

None taken. I run a business and time is very limited especially when it comes to preparing meals. I try to eat a big breakfast/lunch and dinner but adding high protein meals in between is a task. I usually take the shakes in between those meals.

i see... im very busy aswell... but what i do to make my meals for the week.. is i spend 2-3hours on a sunday making as much fish, brown rice,chicken breast, and wholegrain wraps as much as i can... and it will usialy last me most of the week... u have to find a way to do oit... cuz its the only way ull reach your goals.
