Burning fat with Test cypionate?

Hi guys and gals, new to the forum here and I have some questions. I'm a 37 y/o male 5'11" 216lb. I used to be pretty ripped, around 185lb back when we took legal andro "Good old days" Since then I have quit working out and my test levels have dropped significantly. I now have T levels that are equal to a 90 y/o man, I don't know if that's a result of androstene use or not but it really doesn't matter at this point. I would like to get back in shape again and my wife is definitely sick of looking at my fat ass. I know that diet and getting off of my fat ass are the two most important things, which I've already started. I've been able to legally obtain Test cypionate 400mg every other week from my doc. I was wondering what would be a good supplement to add to the T to help me blast this fat off. I kind of feel like I'm letting my family down by being fat, especially my kids, just because they emulate us. Is there a good fat burning substance out there that can be stacked with my T? Legal or not I'm willing to do a cycle or two to get things rolling as fast as possible.

Thanks, cave62

Just thought I would share my Test result just for people who are curios what one looks like.

Testosterone, Total and Free, S
Testosterone, Free, S 3.4 L ng/dL 9-30
Testing performed by Equilibrium Dialysis.
Testosterone, Total, S 172 L ng/dL 240-950
Testing performed by Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass
Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).

It sounds like you are on a TRT protocol, if you are self injecting then shoot for injecting twice a week (every 3.5 days).

400mg every two weeks = 200mg a week = 100mg every 3.5 days, this will allow you to maintain a steady test level and not experience the not so friendly hormone crash associated with bi-monthly injections. It will also lessen the estrogen conversion and you might be able to get by without the use of an AI.

Check out the TRT section, a lot of great guys with great knowledge and experience!

Best of luck to you!

Clean up the diet, follow Spunkey's suggestion for injections, and be consistent in the gym. You WILL lose weight, it just takes time and dedication. This is coming from someone that has lost over 150lbs of body fat after starting TRT.

My .02c :)

That's freaking ridiculous, I'm down to 195lbs now. You've lost almost an entire Doc from your body hahaha

Bahahaha. It is actually kind of confusing at first (directed towards the OP), as your weight doesn't really change because you're shrinking those fat cells while putting on LBM at the same time. However once that resistance training kicks in, and those muscles do their thing - it does start to melt right off.

Still not 10% bf though. :( Another 35lbs to go before I can has a six pack. :p

I'm self injecting so it's totally up to me.

Ultimately, you have to set interim goals and priorities. So if losing the fat is first and foremost, I'd say do cardio. You don't have to be a nut and do 90 minutes 7 days a week, do 30 3-5 times a week after your workouts.
But AAS will help you gain and retain the muscles as you go.

And yeah, twice a week shots is the way to go. Once a week is doable, every two weeks can be a roller coaster.

Thanks for the replies fellows, I've been doing a lot of reading and have a lot more to do. I appreciate it!

Stay at a consistent caloric deficit for a few months. say -500 below maintenance. As for supplements and extra goodies to make that much easier:

Yohimbine, EC stack(ephedrine, caffeine)

You NEED a caloric deficit. That is 90%. If you wanna be hardcore, you can look up some Clenbuterol and thyroid hormone cycles. Honestly, the fatter you are, the easier it is for it to come off. Just stay at a caloric deficit and eat a diet high in protein and moderate fat/carbs. As for training at the gym, do whatever you want. Just keep using the muscle. If you lift weights, your body will preferentially burn fat and carbs instead of muscle. You're on the right track. Your T levels are most likely due to your andro use.

I stress high protein. Protein is the most satiating macro nutrient. It fills you up the most and keeps you satisfied for longer. Avoid calorically dense foods like Peanut butter, nuts, pizza, etc.

Cardio can help, but don't kill yourself. Keep it light or your gonna burn yourself out. Focus on your caloric intake and maintaining strength in the gym.
