I'm wondering if these steroid busts in second world countries are just shakedowns and not "moral" or legal actions. Maybe somebody in power didn't get paid off. I'm curious. It seems like every time a source with an internet presence gets busted, they are up and running again in a few months. That wouldn't happen if the US was involved. Which makes me think its just back room deals with the powers that be.

I work in an environment where I see the scum kill, get killed, rape, rob, etc and they walk out of our US Legal system everyday. The only reason gear busts happen in the US starts with ignorant people bragging and it makes new headlines. No one cares about the crack headlines or other drug busts, but gear is an exciting new topic that sells newspapers and PD usually isn't PD off by those helping out.

Well said! The gov't does this for one reason....$$$$$. They can steal the gear for their under-covers to use freely and line their pockets because the fuckers can't put their greedy hands on regulating/taxing it!
