Buying gear in MEXICO bad idea?

Funny story, years ago I decided to fly a light plane into Mexico. I read all the regs, did all my homework and off I went to Nuevo Laredo. After landing, I was escorted by armed guard to Commandante's office to "pay fees". Uh oh.

He's super nice, wearing a very expensive suit. Big smile. Uh oh. He says "let's say what I need to collect." Uh oh is feeling inadequate suddenly.

"Single engine or twin?" I tell him it's a single. He starts jabbing at his calculator. Asks the gross weight, I answer, more jabbing at his calculator. That's when I notice the Rolex. Oh shit.

He asks how many crew. Just me and my friend, I tell him, and he jabs at his calculator for what seems a long time. I wonder if he's just doing it for show at this point.

He looks up and says "88 pesos...or 8 dollars, either works." I hoped I didn't look as relieved as I felt. I gave him the cash, and he asked if we were hungry, and recommended some places in town to eat. It was a great trip, but I do believe the Rolex didn't reflect family money, he was probably subsidized by the local "pharmaceutical" business.

After that I've flown into all of the airports in the Yucatan and done some week long trips through Mexico by light plane. Every single person at every single airport has been friendlier than any person I've dealt with in CBP coming back in to my home country. Kinda sad.

Mexican gear can be dirty I wouldn't use it thats just me though. Theres so much out there it all can't be bad. Its about as cheap as it is anywhere else and the same risks are involved. No point!

My problem with Mexican gear is it's always packed with rice beans and some tortillas. By the time I get back to the states my gear smells like a Mexican asshole. It is the only place I know you can get the whole enchilada

Yeah I use to go there mid 90s. Going to the vets is rolling the dice. The pharmacy was always gtg but really the only thing worth it was the sust 250 but those ome in the redi-Ject pins. Real hard to summgle those. We use to put 10cc in old test bottles and tape them to our leg or something and walk across. Def wouldn't try it no days. I hear even some of the pharmacy gear is bunk.

Did the same. The vet gear is always super underdosed or bullshit all together. Most pharms sell knock offs if you don't know how to spot them, they'll sell to you. I dealt with 1 pharmacy, way off the beaten path in Tijuana back in the 90's. They sold only the real stuff (Sus 250 and Deca preloads, Primo Amps and Tabs, and Sten Ampoules (Cyp 75mg and Prop 25mg mix) and let you pin there. I can tell you, for the money, the Sten amps were the best. I paid $10 for 2 amps. Sure, they were only 100mg each, but they were awesome. I use drive down. Left a tool box at the pharmacy for taking apart my car to stash stuff til I got home, to my other tool box.

It was much safer back then. I'm sure it's a fucking mess now. Too many good UGL's to order safely from for me to risk that. I'll take a letter from Customs in my mailbox versus fucking with Tijuana anymore.

I bought some in Rocky Point (Puerto Penasco) in April. Two vials of Deca in a pharmacy. I haven't taken it yet so don't know if it's dirty or bunk. However when I got home I realized that the expiration date was 12/13

Best deal right now are these testoprim-D (200mg test E, 50mg test P) you can get at the pharmacia. Painful as fuck but for 189peso you get 3 amps plus it comes with 3 21 guage pin in the box which are good for drawing. Plus if you shop at bienovedes (not sure if I'm spelling it right but it's a major chain down here comparable to cvs) you can get a frequent shoppers card which qualifies you for a buy 2 boxes get one free plus other discount. So basically 9 amps for around 35-40 bucks usd

Ha!! Saw this product on that Dave Polumbo video when he went to Tijuana recently and visited some pharmacia's. He said the same thing about the Testoprim-D . That's actually the next and best version of what I was using back in the 90's (Sten Amps). Those are a great deal man

Aww man ...you're breaking my heart with memories. I use to bye Stenox by the 1000's (car load to be exact) for me and some friends in the Marines. I was so pissed to see them discontinue them (the real ones at least). They really ripped me (us) up. I can't believe how much Halo cost these days, but then again most are 10mg tabs now.
