before 2012 everyone on these boards used the standard labcorp estradiol test to dial themselves in (7-42.6) and usually with good results.
Now I've been consistently testing my estrogen since being on HRT since april and have always had drastically different results.
The standard lab always has me about 45-55H(7-42.6) while the sensitive panel always has me in range 19(3-70)
But I never felt as I thought I should. Recently I lowered my dose from 100mgs to 60mgs per week and am finally getting energy back and feeling good. Less emotional, better sleep, less water retention, blood pressure dropping to healthy range.
This makes me feel as either, I should be listening to the standard test as my brobrothers before me, or I just seem to feel good with lower estrogen. Possibly because I always had low test levels.
Now the higher dose could be putting more stress on my thyroid and adrenals and maybe this is why I don't quite feel as well on it.
Now I am getting kind of greedy as I know from previous blood work on 60mgs per week I'm around 600 test level but free test failry low 13(9-26). I'm going to get blood work next week using the standard estradiol to see where it is that I'm feeling good at, most likely it's around 25-35 based of previous bw. Sensitive put me around 10 though.
Obviously I want healthy Free T especially at 22 y/o. So I'm thinking about upping my dosage back to 100mgs and adding a very small dosage of arimidex (as I seem to over-respond) and using the standard lab to dial myself in. I'd also add in hcg now that I'd be on an ai.
I mean the point of HRT is too feel good, not ace the blood work. As long as I'm within the ranges I see no harm.
Current Protocol 40mg cyp2x week, no hcg, no ai, 50mg dhea and preg daily
Thinking
M 50mg cyp,250iu hcg,.1mg arimidex
T
W250iu hcg, .1mg arimidex
TH 50mg cyp
F250iu hcg, .1mg arimidex
50mg dhea and preg daily
testing bloods every 2 weeks till dialed in
Thoughts??
