Calling on you Canadian for Bloodwork Input

Any of you Canadians ever use bloodtestcanada.com? Seems legit as the blood is taken at clinics such as life labs, then bloodtestcanada e-mails you the results. It's expensive though, so anyone have another option? I'm trying not to hassle my doc to much and avoid a visit to a naturopath clinic, etc.

I was looking into this but too this day haven't got any testing done because of the price. This option is $189.00 and gets E2, T, SHBG, PSA, DS, C. They ship to Canada

I would have the option to use PrivateMDLabs but there is no LabCorp office to take a sample in the US city by me.

I looked at that briefly, it looks like a self testing kit - is that correct? I was concerned about it's accuracy if so. I was going to take the cheap option with bloodtestcanada.com and only do T & E while on (think those 2 cost around $110 or so together) then have doc send me for full panel after PCT.

It's a ~4hr drive to the nearest US city with a LabCorp for me

Depending on how your doctor is, going in with common signs of low testosterone such as low libido and lethargy, impotency, etc. may get you some free blood work. I've gotten free test checked before, never all the markers though.

You have to send it back to them, you do the collection and then send it back and they email results have not used them though.

If you can pass of as someone with low T then you shouldn't consider running a cycle because that would require you to look like a complete slob. I will never get free bloodwork and anyone who looks half decent and not about to keel over and die will not either.

General practitioners are generally not well versed in hormonal issues. I did get a referral to a eurologist, but he did send me out of his office with the "you're clearly young and healthy, look at you, you'll be fine" speech. I know of a few people who go to their gp for bloodwork and get it no problem. All of them, look like they are on most of the time, if not all of the time. Doctors just cave and say sure when they ask for the testing.

Did this for my baseline. Plan to do it again after post cycle therapy (pct). So my concern would be using the same line 6-8 weeks in and having my test come back through the roof (may not be able to check it down the road as easily; he'll catch on).

Naturopath clinics are private, so you pay for the appointment, not the blood work itself - haven't tried it yet, and don't really want to unless I have to.

I actually go to a naturopath doctor, and am in the process of getting bloods done for other things. They can write the requisition for the lab, but you need to pay for the tests they send you for...Unless your gp is cool and will just send you in to get tested for what the naturopath's want checked. Pain in the ass if you ask me.

The growth hormone test isn't a bad price from that site. Even with a blood request you have to pay 45 or 50$ because ohip doesn't cover it.
