hey guys. I have been arguing with my friend about my diet. He thinks I should eat more. I am 211 5'11" 20yrs. I am currently on 50mgs of win. and 37.5mg of tren everyday. I am strictly only taking these to prevent muscle loss and strength up while cutting. I currently eat like somewhere in between 1700-2200 cals. I try to get about 300g of protien a day(hard with only 2000cals). In the gym I do the eliptical(spelling?) for 30 min. buring 400 cals. and my normal workout 4sets for each muscle, working two muscles daily. What do you guys think cals right or do I need more?

if you were natty, at 211, youd definatly want to eat more. Take that for what its worth though, because i dont know much about the drugs.

they might move it back here, but you might want to try posting in the anabolic section:dunno:

Well, the typical numbers given for men are 10-12 calories/lb/bw for cutting and about double that for bulking.

If you are 211, the number you would want to be shooting for is 2300 calories. However, those numbers are just guidelines to get you started. You need to listen to your body and experiment to find what works best for you. I think the protein amount is fine, however there are many out there that would encourage you to up it to 2xlb/bw, or ~400 grams of protein, and I wouldn't have a problem with that either.

The main thing you don't want to have happen is to have your body's metabolism shut down because it is in starvation mode due to lack of calories.

When i was at 210lbs i found i was depriving myself of alot of nutrients and calories i needed. I was kinda pudgy when i was yonger so didn't wanna get fat, so i lifted hard core and was around 205-210lbs. Everyone who hung around me and knew anythign about training said i was overtraining and not eating enough. I didn't buy it. Finally after about 2yrs of hearign this i took a friends advice, strickly to try it out. I starting eating more and steadily kept increasing the calories. To my amazment, my gains kept going up and up and i kept gaining fairly lean muscle mass. Now several yrs later, i'm 250lbs and about 11 percent bf instead of 8-9percent bf. I"m just starting to cut again so I'm shooting to get to about 8percent bf again but i'll be much bigger then i was last time :D
don't be afraid to eat, just keep your cals clean for the most part.
G'luck
