Can Anavar Cause Yeast Infections?

The primary cause of yeast infection in woman is fungus - primarily Candida albicans. Along with some other types of bacteria, Candida albicans are usually present in small amounts in the vaginal area. However, the bacteria becomes a cause for concern when it multiples rapidly, becoming a yeast infection also known by the medical terms of candidiasis or monilia...

I just wanted to say that I absolutely yes it does bacterial vaginosis when we are older. when I was 44 I use out of our for the first time and I had no problems. when I was age 50 I used it prior to competing and this time the day I started it I started all of the sudden getting that fishy odor, and it stayed with me through the full entire 6 weeks in that 6 weeks I ended up getting a prescription for BV 6 times! yeast infections do not have older but bacterial vaginosis has that very strong fishy odor. I was told that the reason it causes that is because it is playing with are estrogen levels and it causes us to deplete our moisture in the vaginal area which causes infection. I was googling on here to find if there is any way for us to prevent that like maybe keeping some type of moisture up in there like a KY jelly to prevent the dryness which causes the bacterial vaginosis. then I saw your comment and I wanted to make sure that women are aware that when we are starting to play with hormones the older we get it does cause us to have issues in the Girly area. I hope this helps other women out there.
I received this question in a PM from someone who would prefer to remain anonymous.

Looking at the individual chemistry of anavar and the biochemistry of the human body, I'm going to say no.

However I'm not 100% on this and I thought it was interesting.

Have you ever heard of anyone getting a yeast infection from anavar? Or being more susceptible to them on anavar?

the answer to that would be a big fat yes by my own personal experience! I tried it once when I was 44 and I had no problems. I used it for my last show at age 51 and it gave me bacterial vaginosis. a personal friend of mine is a female doctor and she told me that the reason is is because the older we get we are messing around with our hormones when we take a fart and it causes vaginal dryness which causes bacterial issues. the day after I started taking it I got problems. it does not cost a yeast infection it causes bacterial vaginosis which is worse that is that terrible fishy smell!!
