Can someone explain what HCG does????

Can anyone explain what HCG does?
how long till it is absorbed in the body and utilized ?
what hormones does it raise?
Does it not raise adrenal hormones as well?

I'm no expert, but it mimics LH which is shutdown when you're on TRT. So basically it keeps your testicles working if your secondary hypo and it gives you an extra boost of testosterone from your own body. This is great for several reasons. Number one it gives me the option to attempt a restart at some point if I choose to do so since long term atrophy could harm the testicles and make a restart impossible. Secondly, it can keep you fertile if you want to have children. It relieves testicle pain from when the testicles start to shrink. Orgasms feel much better. Back fills other hormonal pathways that are shutdown with TRT. And, just plain makes me feel good. However, it's hell on my E2 levels and I'm quite sensitive to it like I am to all the other TRT meds.

I notice the effects starting within a few hours. It gives me a warm sensation down below and things go back to hanging low in record time along with a feeling of well being. Unfortunately, this can all be messed up by the ever increasing E2 levels that go with it. This is how I respond. Some are more sensitive than others.

Thanks for reply. I get a lot of that stuff.
What "sensitivities" do you have ?
Stuff raises E2 like no other!!!!

Well, I evidently have a lot of aromatase activity going on inside my body so for me it raises my E2 a lot on top of the test cyp. That is the only downside. It makes me feel good except for that. Fortunately, I seem to respond very well to small doses so I don't have to use much to get an effect. Don't know why that is, but the proof is there. Not everyone has as much trouble with E2 as me so you might not have the same sensitivity. I've also heard that increasing the Aromatase inhibitor (AI) dosage doesn't help control the E2 from the HCG. I don't know if that's true or not, but there must be a reason why people are saying this.

Mimics LH and stimulates leydig cells into testosterone production.

1. Prevention of testicular atrophy.
-- This is done by mimicking LH and restarting natural testosterone production in the testes.

2. Balances hormonal fluctuation. (Mainly TRT patients and dose dependant)
-- By strategically timing hCG injections, you will prevent "dips" in serum levels.

3. hCG in involved in the process of production for DHEA, Cortisol and Pregnenolone. By backfilling P450cc pathway...
-- A host of benefits here. These benefits will combat fatigue and stress, betters your mood, has a role in energy, reduced cardiovascular risk, immune stimulation, betters memory, and more.

is that why there is kind of a heightened sense of energy (if you will) or anxiousness for some ppl when they incorporate HCG in their TRT protocol ?
If HCG plays a role in cortisol production....
Cortisol is considered a "stress" hormone, is it not?
