Hey everybody. Lately I have been having this problem. The fact is that I eat alot of chicken to support my diet/ protein needs. So, lately, I have been trying to eat chicken but I have no appetite for it and everytime I go to eat it, I feel sick. Ill have it in my mouth and I cant swallow it, I just kind of gag it back up. Like my body is telling me no...dont eat this. Then I smell the chicken and it smells like it's still raw but I'm sure it's fully cooked because it's white not pink. Another problem....I have been eating turkey and swiss cheese sandwiches and the same thing happens...I feel like gagging it back up. Now I am pissed because chicken was a great form of protein and calories for me and now when I think about it I gag and feel like vomiting. Why do I feel this way??? And my mind is at a blank as what else to eat to get my protein requirements. I understand that I can eat steak but it's too expensive. I could eat tuna but I gag on that too. And sometimes I have this stomach pain that I am sometimes not sure weather it's hunger...or just a stomach ache???????? What the hell?

You need more variety in your diet. Actually pork is a very inexpensive meat--pork tenderloins are all lean meat and are reasonably priced. Use more spices and get a bit more creative with your cooking. You are probably so sick and tired of chicken and turkey that you just cant handle it anymore. Are you eating enough fresh green vegetables they are helpful in digestion as well as necessary for providing lots of vitamins and nutrients.

... variety is actually not a good idea... a variety of flavors intensifies your cravings for carbs. NOW ,,, don't get me wrong ,, we all need a pretty good amount of carbs to build,,, but craving them is dangerous. if you crave you will tend to go after the junk carbs. Damon, if you have a gas or charcoal grill try using that,, it gives it just enough of a different flavor that it might be palatable. other than that ,,,, anybody who sticks to the chicken/veggie/rice diet can tell you that we all have the same issue,,, wanting to vomit and eating when we are not even close to being hungry. its a job,, not to be enjoyed any longer. for a clean bulk at least.

one last suggestion,,,, if you like sweet potatoes.... mash them up and spread them on the chicken. this helps me greatly....

Chop the chicken into small strips and cook it in a sauce that you like.
I hate dry chicken breasts.

carefull with the "sauce's" ... some have a TON of sugars.... look for a sugar free one.

p.s..... nice avitar GTC,, is that in her ASS !!!!!!?????? hahahaha !

make sure youre not overcooking it. its real easy to over cook lean meats and it makes them really bad. if you keep them moist and well seasoned you should have no problems.

I have had this problem before also. It's mostly a mental thing, you just have to make yourself do it. And there's nothing wrong with putting the food down for a few minutes so your stomach can settle.

I have the best luck with the small strip idea. Some spice and some olive oil in a pan and it tastes great. Substituting water for the olive oil works too but its not as tasty.
