Carbohydrates are the DEVIL

but he does make a great point.. i cant think of a diabetic that has come to me and not seen similar results.. all of them had both their fasting blood glucose and their a1c drop...

its a testament to what a balanced and proper diet, with carbs, can do

Sorry, I meant to say my lifts have stalled. I was lifting heavier each week for along time. Then stalled and have remained at the same lifting weights.

anyone seen the documentary/move- "Super Size Me" ?

heres a documentary, in the same manner as that was,, exposing many faults of the modern diet,, showing things like how saturated fats are healthy and good for us and do not cause heart disease, where as its the Carbohydrate that causes these diseases and health problems

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evcNPfZlrZs

its entertaining,, but plenty of scientific evidence loaded in there as well

Si what if Eve didn't eat from the tree? Would carbs therefore be considered good?

That depends on ones world view and theological persuasion and wither you fall into the infralapsarian camp or the supralapsarian camp.. But that debates been going on since Augistine in 370 ad to mideval Calvinism to today,, Your question has been asked throughout history. But that's a whole other topic better served in an entirely different online forum :)

So the food pyramid, Which recommend 50-75% of our calories come from grains and wheat / carbohydrates..

It was put out by the Us department of AGRICULTURE.. Not the dept of health .. It was SOLEY influenced by lobbyist of the agriculture and grains industry,, it was an economic recommendation,, not a nutritional sound health recommendation for Americans

Humans (omnivores),, are we more herbivore (plant and grains) or carnivore (meat and saturated fat) leaning ?

Look at herbivore mammals,, (cows, horses, goats, etc) where are their eyes located,, on the side of their heads.. Why, cause they are prey and need to look out for predators while grazing.

Look at carnivores (tigers, lions, coyotes, etc) where are their eyes located.. In the front of their heads.. Why, cause they need to focus in and dial in on the prey.

Where are human eyes? The FRONT of the head,, we are evolutionarily carnivores.

Why are we being told to eat the same thing herbivore mammals do .. Grains and wheats ie carbs.
Our body cannot take a grain and eat it and convert it to essentially fatty acids needed to survive,, but a cow can ,, why,, cause man is a carnivore and cow is an herbivore , heck the cow has four stomachs to make this happen, we don't.. Why eat what a cow eats..

Humans thrive as carnivores on saturated fat and meat..

Why have saturated fats got a bad name .. Well a study years back ,, scientist injected saturated fat into rabbits, They found that the rabbits suffered heart disease and health issues from that.. So concluded saturated fats were bad and caused heart disease for humans

Hmmm.. What a bunch of dumb ass scientists !!

Did they not realize that rabbits are herbivores and do not nor are designed to consume saturated fat (duh, rabbits don't eat other animals),, it was a foreign poisonous substance to rabbits..

If they would have done the same experiment using cats, a carnivore, the results would have been totally different, The cats would have thrived on saturated fat cause it's an essential nutrient for a carnivore..

I hate to break it to you, but the first 5 pounds you lose on a Keto Diet is your soul. :-)

Lol.. I've heard that when you die your body is five pounds lighter,, that's the weight of your soul in the blood ,, ""the life is in the blood"" (Leviticus 17:11).
Hmm, I'm guessing it was just carbohydrate poisoning water weight and not my soul that vanished :)

For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.

New Living Translation

I fixed that for you niner,, Paul's original letter to Timothy

Look - it has been well documented that Manna (the food from God that the Hebrews ate in the desert) was actually Reece's Peanut Butter Cups. The miracle is that they did not melt in the desert! Peanut Butter Cups are loaded with carbs - and therefor we can say God loves carbs. The translation from Paul must be in error...

Ever wonder why challah bread is twisted as it is? It was an attempt to mimic the ridges on the peanut butter cups. On the day before Shabbat, a double portion of manna was given, since none was to be collected on Shabbat as the gathering of food is considered work. That is why there are always two loaves of challah on Shabbat. The Rambam, in his Mishneh Torah, describes this quite well. I have to admit, I cannot remember exactly where, though you can find all of it HERE. I think it is also mentioned in the sedarim Moed, which is in the Mishnah Torah (do not confuse Mishneh with Mishnah - easy to do), since the sedarim Moed deals with food. The Mishnah Torah was written before the Gemara and the Talmud, making it very old (200 CE or so - though that is simply when it was put to pen, the teachings are far, far older).

So yeah, in short, God loves Carbs. :)
