Chest day

I ALWAYS train chest on monday. Is it ok sometimes to train chest one day earlier (sunday) instead sometimes?

Experienced guys only please.

If it causes me to be even 1 rep weaker, I wont do it.

This makes no sense....it would not make any difference at all.....
I think changing up your routine often would yeild greater gains in strength and developement.....gettting out of a stale pattern is always a positive

No need to be obsessive compulsive over sticking to a training pattern.

I just though MAYBE my pecs would not be healed in 6 days, as well as they would be in 7 days.

Hahaha, thanks man. I hope 6 days rest is as good as 7 days rest. Your probably right. It probably is enough.
 
Go by how you feel, If on Sunday you feel great and are ready to give your chest a hard workout then by all means do it. Things work best for me when I am more intuitive and less formulaic.
 
Protein synthesis after a workout completes within 36-48 hours. Once a week frequency leaves plenty of time to 'heal'
 
Remember its CNS as well, not just muscle tissue.

Dont know your routine but for me I have gone as frequent as 5 days within the last year or so, right now its 4 days of training over 7 days, so once a week for me typically.
