Chocolate milk post workout

What do you guys think of using chocolate milk post workout. I've read on one hand that it's the perfect ratio of 4:1 carbs to protein. On the other hand I've read that it's really too sugary to be used regularly on a cutting diet. Thoughts?
 
The chocolate milk thing is a complete myth. U can get the things they say u get from it in other ways. This was probably started by some fatty and some how made it's way into regular gym folks minds.
 
90's pro Eddy Robinson used to swear by chocolate milk and a banana right after his workouts. just 2cnts.
I love me some chocolate milk too shithead.....lol
 
Its been used for decades by alot of the pro"s . I also blend it with a banana and hard-boiled egg whites ......I remember when the hot set-up was Welches grape juice with milk-n-egg protein . ~Bo

Can't agree more... No idea how this even got spread around lol.
 
Chocolate milk is the best, also almond chocolate milk. It's easy to go overboard though if you're limiting calories, just like PB and nutella.
 
Also, you can drink in on a regular diet as well.. Just don't go overboard, and if it fits your macros and your micros are in check from other sources, go for it. As long as you're in a caloric defecit and those requirements are met -- you're G2G.
