Cialis no longer working after 2 years

I've been on TRT for 3 years...been using Viagra, Levitra and most recently Cialis with good results for about 10. Wife had some surgery which kind of took her out of commission for about 2 months. I didn't take any ED pills for that time. When she finally gets cleared in hot, I don't feel like the Cialis is working well at all. Just barely even. Now it's in my head...the fear of failure thing. Is it possible for Cialis to just stop working? It's the same lot I was using prior to her surgery. These pills are only about 6 months old so I don't think they would have lost some potency. No other health changes. In fact I stopped drinking alcohol so I would have thought things would have gotten slightly better. I know, I need to talk to my doctor. I just thought I would ask the group if it's possible for a body to stop responding to Cialis after being on it about 2 years. Appreciate any info.

I can't imagine it just stopped working after two months. How much cialis are you taking every day?

Have you made any changes to your TRT protocol? Diet changes other than dropping alcohol? How much did you used to drink?

How did you store the cialis?

Is your cialis in pill form or liquid? If pill form is it via a prescription or is it something you got from an overseas pharmacy?

He's been on it for 2 years sir, which makes it even harder to imagine.

Trust me, the mental portion is a killer. When you have had ED issues, and the pain it brings, there will always be residual worry after the ED problem is overcome. That worry can be enough to kill the erection.

For me, I have to take PT-141 AND Cialis. Eventually I will work out all my psychosis. :)

I don't take the daily Cialis...20mg prescription pill from a chain pharmacy as needed. Pills stored in a bathroom medicine cabinet. No changes to TRT protocol though it has been quite a while since I've had blood work done. I'll request that. How much alcohol? While not a blithering drunk I noticed my consumption was creeping up and a bottle wasn't lasting as long as it used to. Probably more than was healthy for me for sure. Other than the mere habit of it, not a problem stopping. I've done a little internet reading and came across several articles that indicated the body could get "used to" a certain ED drug if taken for a long period and loose its effectiveness. Judging by the responses here I guess nobody else has run into that. My doc is a women and while I like her there are some things I'm afraid she doesn't have a good point of reference for, if you get my drift. I'm almost certain this is to some degree just "in my head"...if it wasn't before, it is now. I feel like I need to try and get a handle on this aspect before I go chasing medical reasons...easier said than done. Thanks fellas.

I recommend that you try taking 5-10mg daily. Cialis works really well when it is taking every day. Besides the enhanced erections, it has other benefits such as lowering BP and helping with BPH

Getting blood work done would be a good idea just to make sure your TT and Estradiol are looking good.

And speaking of BP, have you been monitoring yours? Is it staying in the healthy range? BP can affect erections.

As for procuring cialis, I have a prescription for it to take 5mg daily. But it costs me around $200 for a 30 day supply. Because of this excessive cost, I get it from other sources. I have compared them to the real thing and I cannot tell the difference. Many of the guys here do the same thing.

I agree with the low dose, daily protocol. Started having BP issues during my last blast, started some cialis at 10mg a day and within a few days my BP had improved (along with my boners). Double win.

As much as I would like to give that a try, $200 a month for daily Cialis is not in the budget. Is your source cheaper than that? What about the RUI Cialis...isn't that cheaper. Until last night I had never heard of RUI Cialis so I don't know that much about it yet. Or PT-141 for that matter. Would either one of these help with the confidence factor? Actual libido is not an issue at all.

I know this is not a good indicator, but I still feel good. I don't feel like anything has changed health wise but none the less I now have this issue. Is it a real issue or just in my head? I know the head can play a huge factor in this.

I am also on BP meds and monitor pressure every couple days. Actually I've noticed a slight improvement since cutting out the alcohol.

I know I should be talking to my doc about all this, but can't help but feel that having the issue in my head could be a huge part of it...how does the doc help with that? I think it would be so much helpful if I could rule that aspect out. But do you ever really get rid of that aspect? This sucks. Thanks guys, your insights are most appreciated.

Would love to know source. I just got a prescription from my doctor to try Cialis. Went to pick it up. $165. Looked in the bottle, (3) 10mg pills. Shit!

Check out the RUI add banner at the top of the page. I think they have a sale going on right now too. I use their stuff and it is good to go.

3 pills for $165 bucks? just to keep it up? damn. your better off spending that money on booze and having a good time getting and keeping it up.

Guys, I highly recommend RUI's cialis. I have used it and there is absolutely no difference to the stuff you are getting at Walgreen's -- other than the price. I think you have to keep it refrigerated after opening it up so keep that in mind. It is in liquid form -- which actually makes it easier to get a precise dose. But taking pills is more convenient. But for the price savings I am very willing to suffer that small inconvenience.

Oral...thank goodness. As much as I appreciate TRT I still dread pin day. I can swing the cost of this.

1. How much would I start with?
2. So about how long would that 30mg/mL bottle last. I suck at math.
3. With Cialis I experience nasal stuffiness bad. Can I expect the same with this?
4. How soon should I notice results?
5. So I just ignore the "for Research Purposes only" disclaimer. Side effects?

I'm sure there will be more.....thanks y'all.

There's 30mL at 30mg/mL in each bottle... that's 900 mg or 90 of your 10mg doses. I usually take a bit less, I probably get over 100 doses per bottle, lasts me probably a year.

If you buy during RUIs sales, it is truly inexpensive... less than one percent of the cost of the pills you mentioned.

The stuffiness seems to get less when you've used if for a while (to be fair I don't think the overall effect is quite as strong either).

Try 5mg or so and see if it doesn't give you good results. I get headaches if I take a little too much.

I find it works in about 45 minutes or so.

Yes, obviously to do this you have to ignore the disclaimers. Everything comes at a price.

Thank you. When I asked about how long to take effect I guess I meant how long to see the long term steady effects. And how do you measure out 5mg? I take 100mg of test every week and that's not much in the syringe. The whole mL/mg thing takes me while to get my head wrapped around. And when I'm ordering it is the Liquid Cia 30ml 30 mg/mL. right?

Correct. Get a 1ml oral syringe or an insulin pin. 10units (or 0.1ml) will equal 3mg. So just shoot for 20units or 0.2ml and that'll give you roughly 6mg/day.
