Sorry everyone. I waited 5 weeks after clomid and i went and got my blood taken on monday. Results will be in next week. I dont feel to much better...a bit. At least i think of women sexually again ! No where near like wgat i used to. Also im able to get hard most of the time but a lot of times it still is only half or three quarters hard...so ya...slight improvements but nothing dramatic. Somehow i keep chuggin along though..get through everyday. This is a shitty way to be during my first year of college !

Alright so I have my blood results. In june before clomid I had a total test level of 348 (228-1085) 5 weeks after finishing my clomid (so two wweks ago) my levels increased to 492 (228-1085). So I think I'm going in the right direction? My doctor is going to try and find a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) doctor for me to go see because she said most endocrinologists are useless when it comes to male hormone levels. I am hoping the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) doctor might be able to increase my natural levels back up to where they were or close. I don't feel like my old self yet...but I have noticed that my libido had improved a bit...ED still happens but not as bad as before. Before it was wet noodle all day long everyday. SO let me know what you guys think

Bro, I can honestly say you have a good doc. She has given you clomid to get your body running again and is basically telling you the truth.
Endo's are really not that knowledgeable when it comes to TRT. testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) doc would know more...but at the same time the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) doc will not invest much time in seeing what they can do to get your body up and running again on its own.
When you find a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) doc you will be pretty much devoted on life to these protocols they prescribe.

When you did blood work in June....how long were you clean for off the Pro cycle?
You never told us your pituitary hormone levels (LH, FSH)...
You were clean off clomid for 2 weeks when doing this bloodwork with the 492 level?
You are converting these to ng/dl or do the results come in Nmol/L ?
An endo would not help you bro...you are at 348 or 492 ng/dl with clomid.
I had LOW FSH for several months and went to an Endo and he did NOTHING!!!!! not even clomid!!!!!
He saw my Total T at 582 ng/dl and did not care...

Also you could have taken the clomid 3 times per week (M*W*F) for 4 months and have less side effects and better results....
the Lahey Clinic did a study on it.

I re-read your post bro. If you are 5 weeks off clomid and Total T is at 492 ng/dl you are in decent shape.
You could very well recover...
Do another lab in a month or 2 and see where you are.
Eat good, lots of vits. and workout.
Your family doc has helped you out lots in my opinion....
the only thing a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) doc can do now is probably hamper your recovery by using an Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) mono protocol e.t.c. which would suppress you in the long term.
I think a "restart" done by a real pro would help you out...
IMT could help you if you go to the u.s.

Yes we are going to look for a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) doctor. If the doctor doesn't want to try and increase my natural levels..I'll leave them and find another. Yes it had been off of clomid for 5 weeks and got my levels to 495. I redid the conversion and it is 495 not 492 lol that doesn't make any difference. My doctor might contact a doctor in the states and possibly work with him as she has worked with other specialists in the past for me. She goes out of her way for me! It's very possible that another clomid treatment could bring me up whos knows I don't want to guess at this and do trial and error. I'd rather have a doctor treating me than myself

What is your Total T in Nmol/L ?
I went to an Endo back in the day and he could give a hoot about raising my T to where it was prior to "cycle".
I even had Low Fsh...
I'm really rethinking of going to the one I have an appointment with next month...I don't know him. The family doc looked any one up he could find that would take me on short term notice.
He will probably put me through hell before he even puts anything down on paper.

IMO....
If you stay at 17.18 Nmol/L, an endo will not do anything to raise it to "optimum".
Even though a young man should be in the 23 nmol/L + range, according to the speech they will give you, they will tell you it is "normal".
You are talking to a guy who has been through this before and at same levels as you.
Lots of other guys I know who did a cycle and went to endo with low normal T got the cold shoulder as well.
TRT clinics will help you out as they aim for "optimum"

I think your best bet is another round of clomid.... 4 months and 3 times per week.
show your doc the study from the Lahey clinic....
we have it on here..
did you have any funny vision problems while using the clomid bro?
