What's up guys, I just bought some northern icelantic cod liver oil and the bottle says take one teaspoon daily. I've noticed a few guys on here who say they take 3 tablespoons a day! I was just wondering if it would be beneficial for me to take that amount. I'm currently bulking, i'm 5'10", 208lbs, would that be too much, or is it okay to take that much?

3 tblsp a day is not going to hurt you...if your bulking those are great fats to take in..and they'll count towards your cal intake ...by the way how much fish fat is in the teaspoon???

Thanks man, I guess i'll stick with 3 a day then, here are the facts per tsp (5ml):

calories 40 (all from fat)
total fat 4.5g
saturated fat 1g
polyunsaturated fat 1g
cholesterol 10mg
vitamin A 5000IU
vitamin D 200IU
total Omega-3:
fatty acids 962mg
DHA 453mg (Docosahaxaenoic Acid)
EPA 320mg (elcasapentaenoic Acid)

wow..is it concentrated???
i'd got with 3 teaspoons aday or what ever your cal needs demand if more...but now that i see this 3 tbs a day would a lot...lol
i do 4 fish caps a day..which are close to dble the numbers you have posted in that teaspoon..but regardless you'll do fine..just adjust to your cal needs as stated earlier.

Cod Liver oil has a shitload of Vitamin A, a lot more than regular fish oil I think. I'm not sure what too much vitamin A does, but I've heard it's bad for your hair and some other things, I guess you could search on google

my cal intake would still be okay with that much, but TopDog is right, that sure is alot of vitamin A. I guess i'll have to do some research on that! Right now i'm going with 2tbs a day, untill i'm 100% sure that i'm not going to lose all of my hair or something!
