Cold Water Bath PWO?

I am very achy and sore (44 years old) after lifting. lats night i spent 20min in the jacuzzi at the gym then the wet sauna and i feel 100% better today. Do you think a sauna before the workout would prevent some stiffness to begin with?
 
mel siff used to have his athletes roll around in the snow for recovery.

he said it worked, he was genius, so i'd say try it. but try an ice bath

No you dont wanna do that. You want your muscles just normal temp when lifting. To hot will end up causing pain.
