Coming off TRT

I am contemplating the decision to come off testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and see if I can't get my levels up naturally. I wasn't SUPER low (419) when I started with Maximus, and I think I can get my levels to a respectable amount without the test injections.

I'm on the standard protocol:

150mg E5D
1 mg Aromatase inhibitor (AI) day after injection
250iu's HCG day after injection

What's the best way to go about this? Stop the test and use HCG and Aromatase inhibitor (AI) for a month, then stop the HCG, and use up my AI? I'm new to the whole "coming off TRT" thing.

cashout has a very detailed thread of him comming off, might do a quick search for it?

i quit cold turkey because my bp was 158/92 and cholesterol was 309!!!

gonna check with doc tomorrow about my bloods, and see where i stand after being off for a while now,

If i was going to try and stop my testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) I would def be getting pharmacy grade medications to attempt HPTA normalization.

It is also important to get a blood test while on HCG to see if the testes are capable of producing enough testosterone on their own, this should be the deciding factor on wether or not to go forward with SERM treatment.

Just my 2 cents.

I'm due for a blood test anyway, so I'll post the results in this thread...what all do I need to check to decide if they're capable of producing enough testosterone?

Also, which med's would I need to come off?

just a quick q?

is it safe to say that my bp was in fact caused by my Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)? and the cholesterol as well?

and if the testes are not capable? then what should one do, when their cho, and bp are hypertension status now?

just wondering if you had any answers for me?

thanks!

I would love to help you, because of our liability I can only be real specific with the patients I manage.

I can tell you this, if your HCG dose is plentiful, then you will be measuring your max output.

Once you get that number, you will have to decide with your doctor if that number is manageable for you.

So it really just depends on what that number is.

Just because that number is not high does not mean you can't keep trying, maybe you need more treatment for longer or higher dose, that will be something you can also decide at the time of the blood test.

Its possible it was from testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) but its also possible it was from numerous other things.

Eugonadal TT levels actually support HDL.

Thanks man, unfortunately I don't have access to letro, it's crazy expensive through who I'm with. I could get nolva, clomid, etc...

If I've been on HCG the whole time, coming off should be pretty easy shouldn't it? Just looking for a plan to come off...what drugs, dosages, etc..

Regarding your cholesterol, were you taking dex? Armidex is well known to hard on your lipids.

I would to get off testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), but I'm unable to find HCG. Good luck..

I can't afford letro...that's what he uses in his protocol...and I'm not sure I need that extensive of a plan seeing as how I've only been on it since September..

I'll ask this again...what do I need to test to see if my testes are capable of producing enough test on their own?

I wonder if one could cut the length of it in half....not sure I want to order more drugs....

I wonder if I just stopped, did 250ius of HCG every day with 1mg Anastrozle E3 days for awhile it would work...no Nolva or anything...thoughts?

actually this is THE MAIN REASON I WAS NOT on anastrozole, and instead had been using exemanstane,

thanks though, any other culprits?
