comming of t4 with hgh, recovery question.

im using 100mcg of t4 and 2 iu of gh. around the end of summer or a litter later is when i plan on stopping the both. i was thinking of stopping the t4 before the gh, in the thinking that maybe my thyroid will recover at least a hald as much and the gh will help me from putting on any fat when my metabo is low.

do you think this will work or is the gh going to suppress my t4 too much.

also how long does it take to recover from t4 when being on it that long and will supps make a big difference? thanks lot.
 
Trevdog knows a lot about this stuff...

I read somewhere the your thyroid will bounce back in about 2 weeks time - regardless of duration or dosage (which is a balsy thing to say). I can't back that statement up though, just something I read.

Not trying to jack your thread (it's kinda related) but what bloodwork/checkup should you get done in order to make sure your thyroid has fully recovered?

i know alittle bit, t3 and t4 should get check as well as tsh probably and maybe free t4 or t3 but free t3 and free t3 are probly not as neccasary.

Should testing be done immediately following cessation of a T3/T4 cycle? Is it like steroids where when your own you will show significantly increase levels?
 
i think if you were on t4 it would show normal t4 and then also t3 but not sure. some one who knows more might need to chime in. I think tsh is the hormone that tell them to work so that might suppresed. NOt sure thou
 
i've known many to taper up to 400mcg/day...but still wonder about normalcy after 9-12 months use at ANY dosage
 
u mean normalcy ever? or u mean it taking longer?

also whats the point of going higher. Can i go higher if trying to still put on very lean size or should i stay low at 100mg
 
i mean it taking longer to return to baseline levels of natty T3

i dont have enough to answer the second part with certainty...but i would imagine more T4 would be used for a higher metabolism, thus used to cut, not gain

100mcg not only keeps you a tad elevated, but also aids in increasing the rate of protein synthesis, which is desireable
 
yeah thats why i was curious if going to 150 would be beneficial for protein synthesis with out sacrificing muscle.
 
is timing an issue with t4. ive been taking it at night because thats when i take my gh but both just because no one is around then.
 
kosherfield you were talking to me correct? so i guess maybe ill try 150. i want lean out more but also be able to eat to put on size.
 
ok thanks, its all so confusing to me how it works thou. LIke if i increase it can i eat more quality carbs and fats with loosing fat but the extra t4 helping me to utialize it for muscle.
