I was on a solid cycle of tren stano anavar test ..prepping for a physique competition .. 60% into my cycle, the event got scrapped due to lack of competitors..

Next event is two months away. Should i finish the cycle or save my gear for future use?

Thanks

As you're competing, I find this an odd question. The typical cycle length for a competing athlete is going to be longer (IME), but even if running a standard 12 weeks, you're 8 weeks in. The competition is in 8 weeks - which means you'd be done with 4 weeks left to go. PCT during a competition sounds harsh, and if you're on a longer cycle, this shouldn't even be a thought as you'd easily have 8 weeks or more left.

Heck, if you were planning on competing TODAY - why would you still be only 60% of the way in? Is this going to be your first show?

I'm not picking on you, I just don't fully understand the circumstances. :)

I was only planning to do a single competition that would have been in september. I would have finished my cycle by the 10th of sept and competed after 4 days. But because that event is gone, my only option left is to compete in another one in late october (which im not too keen on).

This wouldve been my first competition but I have done 10+ cycles in the past as I am into physique modelling.
So to rephrase my question," should I complete a half done cycle with no competition target or objective in the upcoming time frame or keep my gear in stock for later usage as they are good to use till 2017?"
I hope i cleared the air here.

How about locating another competition within the time frame even if you have to do some traveling to it?

I am in india and i was planning for musclemania (in my city). It got scrapped because of lack of participants. It will happen at other cities but there is alot of regional politics and jusging bias involved so it will be a ln attempt in futility to spend so much and compete when you know the outcome.

I guess i should halt the cycle and keep it in stock for a future event.

Loads of bodybuilding events are happening but I am more interested in the physqiue circuit.

I don't think I explained what I meant very well. :spin:

You're on a cycle now with 8 weeks until a show. I don't understand why you would even consider coming off as you're going to need to cut which is catabolic in nature, and AAS helps reduce that potential loss of lean mass.

Physique isn't as tough on judging with regards to size or symmetry, but your conditioning still has to be top notch if you want to place. There frankly isn't much wiggle room with only 8 weeks out - hence my questioning on how this is even a tough choice.

If it were me, I'd lengthen the cycle, find a coach (you're going to benefit from one your first time), and shift gears to work on any lagging body parts that need to be brought up to par.

You're going to need to start planning on dialing in that body fat, and posing routine. Snowpatrol here is a FANTASTIC example of how to prepare for a show, and has a really good log that he still maintains.

I hope that answers your question. :)

This was my final result at the end of the last cycle .

if youre only a number of weeks away from your next show i'd say stay on and do the show..

im saying this will little info though.. i would need to know alot more about you...

what are your current stats? how about your diet and training? what deficit are you at?? what are your current macros?

Here is a recent analysis to help you understand my present **********
Diet is strict with "low carb(20gms) for 3 days" sessions every 10 days in the last 2 months.
Training is every exercise X 3 sets of 12-8 reps.

im sorry thats not enough info about your diet my friend

1-50grams oats,5egg whites
2-2brown bread toasts-10 egg whites
3-250 grams chicken,5 egg whites, brocolli
4-50 grams brown rice, 500 grams chicken
5-1 protein bar
6-5egg whites , 250 grams chkn

Good lord, you must literally poop out a whole chicken every day!

I'd hope you're getting in more veggies than that...

Yes, i didnt mention the bellpeppers and shredded mushroom thats there with the chickens..stopped spinach recently as i was feeling bloated while on them.
Poop is twice a day if that matters .

and what are the macros for the diet?

I have decided to continue with my cycle which will be complete by 10Sept.. will start a 4 wk pct and carry on with strict diet and see how look by the end of sept..
This is a lowly event thats happening in October but if I look stage ready, I will hop on the stage..

For how long should I keep the carbs in the higher range? Should I push it to 320grams to keep up with the 1:1 protein:carb ratio?
I often have photoshoots so too much carbs can lead to a puffy face which is a no-no.
