Concerned about E2 after adding HCG to my TRT

So I just reviewed my labs with my endo and my E2 came back low; said I didn't need anything to manage estrogen right now. That was Tuesday. This week I added 250iu 2x weekly to my TRT regimen and don't have labs again for another 6 months. You guys think I'll be ok without an AI?

Honestly, it's impossible to say for sure.

Your Best Bet is to Redo your E-2 after 1 Month on the HCG.............................. JP
P.S.
How Low was Low ?

It looks like you've been around the block a few times, so I'd bet you'll know if your E2 creeps up too high.

If you are in the US getting the basic female blood panel is cheap and easy, then you'll know.

I'll check my labs when I get home; could use ya'lls opinions onit anyway.
Unfortunately I'm self scripting the HCG part of it so not sure how to bring that up with my endo without putting my test script at risk; maybe just go through a different lab company.

Testosterone 1114
Free testosterone 19.21
Pregenolone <15
Prolactin 29.47 (said elevated liver enzymes causing)

Good question and thanks for the experience Megatron!

I've read some post different places that the stimulation of leydig cells causes a spike in testicular estrogen. I immediately wondered what impact elevated estrogen INSIDE testicles would mean to over all levels. A drop of blue die in a 1/2 full shot glass is obvious. If added to a 5 gallon bucket is it even noticeable . . Any study I seen said the estrogen produced was for local use inside the testicles.

Even though you aren***8217;t scheduled for bloodwork for 6 months if you are in the US you can do bloodwork whenever you want. I would just do the sensitive e2 test in 2 months. 250iu 2x a week is pretty low. Adding 400iu 2x a week to my trt did not show an estrogen change on my bloodwork

36.8 is not Low for your estradiol. You are borderline high. Personally, I would take an AI at your number.

As discussed above, the only way to know about your E2 creeping up is through blood work. Get the sensitive assay (for females test ). Your e2 will probably go up with added HCG.

I'm planning on doing an E2 lab in 3 weeks; that'll be 1 month on HCG. Dr didn't seem concerned with it during my appointment; weird.

What's the perfect number??? Some say 29, some say 23. At 1,100 ish testosterone I'd say 36 is about perfect.

If you didn't get the sensitive assay take that 36 with a grain of salt anyway, could be +/- 15 or so.

Not feeling any estro sides so not too concerned right now; thanks for your input broski

I actually feel better with my e2 slightly on the higher side, might be because I keep my tt lvls on the higher side as well
